Which makes sense really; it'd sorta defeat the career idea of GT mode if we could just import a few hundred cars... heck, don't some people have PSP garages numbering in the thousands?! Bonkers!

I'm curious how, exactly the pre-order cars are treated.

I presume both Chrome and Stealth cars will become available to you in Career mode instantly, as some form of Prize Cars (like the one you'll get delivered with passing the Licenses).

However, I wonder are both Chrome/Stealth models actually available to everybody in some point of the game. Because of the online, they have to "exist" on every disc of the game (Forza logic of "download-free-car-to-have-whole-pack-on-HDD" will not be present here we can suppose) which leads me to another doubt:

Will people without Signature Edition/Stealth cars be able to reproduce Stealth cars in somepoint of the game? Like, to give McLF1 an Stealth treatment once when you obtain it in-game..

Will be intresting though, I'm realy looking forward to discovering all small-detils and easter-eggs that GT5 will deliver in loads.

Yes I am one of many. When someone shares a garage with you you get all they have, so if they have all colors of a certain car you get them all. And if it is just for arcade mode then I will probably transfer right away since it won't interfer with my GT Life.

Probably be one able to buy from the online auction shop, if someone decides to sell one

I remeber online auctions being described by Kaz in a Japanese interview, for gamers and PD to sell stuff

Yeah, I'm imagining they'll be gifted to you on load-up, much like PSP. It'd be interesting (and mildly exciting/disappointing, depending on which side of the fence you're on) if they pop up as prizes at some point in the game. They undoubtedly exist on every copy, and I imagine the keys we get with our pre-orders just "unlocks" them, so to speak.

Maybe R-Mods will end up looking very similar to Stealths in some situations? Now that we can paint our cars different colours, I could, say, recreate the M3 Chromeline, just without the actual stripes, or the GT logo. Er, or the ugly "chrome" sideskirts ;). It definitely is exciting though, half the fun is uncovering all the little secrets on your first playthrough :).
 
I wonder how well the clutch on the G25 and G27 will work.

I often forgot to press triangle in GT5p I hope you can just set the usage of the clutch in the options (like NFS shift)

I believe so. I think it safe to say at this point that standard cars will be those from past GT games, while GT5:P cars and new to the series cars will be premium, as well as some of older cars, present in past GT games, due to either the "historical" significance or whatever other criteria PD has, will be modelled as premium (ex. Castrol Tom's Supra).

There would be no sense IMO to model new cars to the series as standard.

The standard price for the SE is 180 Euros or 150 pounds. So is this the best one? Depends on if you don't mind spending four times a much money to get the extras, and only you can assess their value.

I decided on getting the standard copy from a 24 hour supermarket because I am only interested in the game itself :)

I don't think too many of us are fooling ourselves. When I discovered the cooler aspects of Photo Mode a few months ago - sometimes I'm a little slow - I fell in love with GT4 all over again, and have been drooling over hundreds of my car images in anticipation of GT5.

Yes, the Premium cars look astounding. But on their own, the Standard cars still look darn good. The trailer looks great. I'm not shy at all about looking forward to having the Standard cars in front of my camera in Photo Mode, because they will look better than this:

Just one more , perhaps unexperienced question, lets say, i do buy the game from amazong france, will i still be able to change the language settings to like english?

Yes. Games from Amazon.fr are PAL and since GT5 is obviously multilanguage you'll be able to choose english.
 
I watched a gameshow yesterday and they had a brief mention of GT:
Vettel was the first to take a virtual spin on the X1on virtual Susuka and beat the virtual record on/at/under??? 20 seconds... (source Gameone.de)

Ohh i hope so. i also get my SE from france and don't want it in french (which i speak fluently) but i prefer it in english or german. Just the Apex book will probably be in french. Therefor my CE from UK
