The Escort that's shown in the video as a Rally car and a Group 5 racing car is a MkII, the one in GT2 was a WRC Mk5.

How dreadful it would be if it did turn out to be whatever they could get for the advert, and that whatever they could get just happened to be considerably cooler and more interesting than what they've actually added to the game.

I'm generally far more interested in road cars than racers but that Group 5 MkII is calling to me almost as loudly as the Lotus Cortina. And I'm not even a Ford fan.

Yea, I actually saw the box at Gamestop and on the back of it said the same thing. 950 cars. dunno what that is really about... seems kind of odd since we have always heard more then 1K cars.

I had about 430 cars in GT4, I drove less 50 or 60 cars. No problem for me. 950 cars are huge number. There is only one problem with GT5. It didnt release yet,

hey is any1 getting gt5 collectors, also i would like peoples PSN id's cause i have an idea, PLEASE i want Honest opinions kf u think this is a good idea:

I was thinking about gt5 racing crew type of thing, that would be split into divisions for EX: it would have like a DRIFT division , CIRCUIT division, DRAG division (since there will be a track creator/ editor ) etc........

P.S. the only reason i ask for PSN id's is cause i dont have any1 on my friend's list whose getting gt5 except for like five people anyway you get the point... ^_^

They have an interview with Taku Imasaki (the main US producer of the series). Nothing really new is shown in the preview of the ep though. So it's still hard to tell if we'll get new footage or info.

This was the trailer "announced" by that guy on the PS blog? He mentioned "new details" too, so I hope not.

Might also be old GTR's? But they look more as fords to me.

Yup. There is one shot I can see clearly a Red one, with red painted head lights, but the livery is very different:


I'm not sure as they have a very similar silhouette, and all probably "just" the PGC 10

I agree. We know that Porsche won't be in at launch (short of a miracle), even if we would love to see that happening...

So at this point seeing a Porsche in that video would ruin it's credibility as a source for "new" cars.

More intriguing to me, since we know the Maserati GranTurismo S is in, is the little white and red sports car in the top right hand corner of that pic. Which is a Maserati 'Birdcage' and a little pale metallic blue sportscar which the camera pans across earlier in the shot, which is a Maserati Merak.

I can't see PD making a advert like that and not intending it to be a way to tease the car line up, but at the same time, how many cars have we not seen considering all the cars we already know about and the 1000 car count.
