I was just making a satirical joke.

It's just that it is practiced by so many members it's become annoying, besides nothing is stoping gtp from anointing more mods if deemed.

Then ignore the posts that you deem "Mini-mod"-ish, you are the one choosing to let yourself get annoyed at the fact that someone is just trying to help. 👎

The best clothing to play GT5:lol::lol:

He will be good at this

Enough French talk, the AUP stipulates that you speak English to the best of your ability.

It was as of today for Australians that GT5 is officially one month away.:D:tup:

Guys i need help.. off topic but dont know where to ask:

Someone, somewhere, on this forum posted a video of 3 japanese guys, the host, a racing driver and a rally driver going head to head on track in a mitsubishi evo.

It was kind of light hearted but also professional as though it were from a car programme equivalent to top gear.

Hope you can help me, thanks in advance 👍

Sounds like something Best Motoring would do. Maybe volume 8? (title - The Evo strikes back)

tried to search this thread and other sites about the standard 800 cars not having a cockpit view. but all the informations are confusing. some say there's totally no cockpit view for standard, some say there is a cockpit view without details.

i just have one question. excluding the 3rd person views. the only available view for the standard 800 cars is the "speedometers on top of the road view"?

lol. so you would feel like the pedals and steering wheel is under the track? haha.

are all the cockpit view we see in current demos or videos all premium?

There will probably be a roof camera as well, as there was in GT4.

I have no idea what you are talking about. No such thing. Do you mean bumper cam? That view is standard in pretty much all racing games, and is what most of us have used since GT1.

There's going to be a bonnet view, a chase cam, bumper cam and nothing else I'm aware of yet.

Well at least you know what episode it's from:tup:

Just saw a flyer from "el corte ingles". Despite GT5 not being sold yet, that doesn't stop being used to market Sony stuff. There was a bundle with a Bravia 3D led, glasses and a PS3, and guess what image was (literally) coming out of the LCD?

This:
"The trick with GT 5 is the driving feels right. It’s difficult to explain (and trickier still to portray to the player without a proper force feedback wheel) but it’s as if you can sense the contact between tyre and track, the driving model so sublime and yet so intricate that each corner needs less repetitive learning and more instinct."

...is exactly what I felt playing the Demo.

Less than a month to go :nervous:

Yes, and it's going to be a long month!:sly:

The last few days, once the US gamers have their copies, will probably feel longer than all the rest of the month. I'm just hoping they're all going to be too busy playing to post too many spoilers on here...

I'm not from the US but the game is coming out on the 2nd over here too, and don't worry I'll be too busy playing to post.

I'm thinking of banning myself from GTPlanet a few days prior to the release, because of this reason. I really don't like spoilers, or leaked information on big news.

The leaked images of the F2007 was a classic example, from GT5:P.

I expect people will be in shock for a few days, and when they do start to post stuff, it's gonna be dribbling and drooling mostly, since their brains won't be able to process all the info, let alone convey it into coherent writing :)

The we love cars making of showed the Lamborghini Diablo twice; 0:15 and 0:34... (orange car, next to yellow murcie).

Opel Vectra Playboy DTM @ 0:40

What I think is a new Mazda at 0:45 (bottom right, look for something with a circle on the hood.

I saw the Diablo. There is no way you can confuse it with anything else when seen from above :)

Loved to see several MK I and MK II Escorts (not sure they were confirmed yet).

I don't necessarily think that just because we've seen a certain model car in the We Love Cars advert that we'll see it in the game. We've seen countless model cars on the desks in Polyphony Digital's studios that have never made it into the games before.

I agree, not taking them for granted. But I'm pretty confident in this case. To many Skylines not to accept it as a pretty accurate representation of the games car list :dopey:
