This is my set up, however I'm not sure if you have a desk. The chair is just an office chair adjusted to be more reclined like a car seat. And the good thing is that I can just remove the wheel from the desk and store it underneath when I need the space. A cheap computer desk from Argos/Ikea would suffice.

I hope you can get comfortable in time for GT5!

G'luck.
Your set up is great... But I prefer sofa and sixaxis! I have steering wheel but joypad is for me... :)

I have vague feeling that I read it somewhere but it may have been something I have dreamt up. It's probably the latter as no one else seem to recognize it. In that case, sorry.

You sure you're not talking about that fancy FORZA kinetic thing we saw at E3?

I have a desk similar to yours but not an extra TV. I have a 40" LCD which I intend to use for GT5 and removing it from its primary position in the living room is not an option.

At this point I think I will see if I can find some kind of fitting table that I can place in front of my sofa but still it doesn't seem like an ideal solution. One of my concerns is that the pedals will stand flat on the floor. In a car you usually push the pedals away from yourself but I haven't seen a simple living room setup which takes that into account. I think it will feel odd to have the pedals flat on the floor. It's hard to explain but it's something about lifting the foot while resting on the heels that will be uncomfortable. It's not quite the same in a car because the pedals are being pushed away rather than being pushed down.

Yes, I'm sure about that as I haven't paid attention to anything about Forza. But as I said it's probably something I have dreamt up and connected to reality somehow.

It does look good but why does the size of the APEX book bother me so much? The thing is a short, fat pig.

You have a point. I have that kind of setup where I'm sitting on the floor, and after more than 1 hour of racing I have lots of pins and needles in my feet.

Wohoooo where are the magazine reviews? Will there even be an review before release? I don´t think so... They want to do really a surprise or something... There must be a reason for this silence...

How was that before the GT4 release? Also silence 3 weeks before release? I relly don´t know.

That bothers you? Ever seen a paperback? Or even a TPB? The only answer to your question I can think of is that you just want something to complain about.

I mean, seriously, you are bothered by the form factor of the book?

I used to use a wooden TV tray before I got my wheel stand.

I just noticed something that I hadn't noticed all the other times this scan has been shown, which actually gives a (small) glimmer of hope for an improved Aston lineup: notice how all the list is alphabetical, until we hit Audi? Their lineup is all sorts of strange, with no discernable order. Shouldn't the R8 road car be listed somewhere ("R8 4.2 R-tronic '07" coming before the LMS, alphabetically)?

It might be a mock-up, not the final edition, and even then, the final edition is unlikely to list every car, right? It'd ruin some of the rarer prize car surprises...

Hmmm.

Yes the silence is weird....this is Sony biggest ever game-a system seller. Maybe we will see something happening by next week. Nice profile photo by the way

Actually... what if we could have it so real that in a G25/27 which have a clutch pedal, you had to double-clutch older non-syncro geared cars

Yes, but the point was "comon" manual H type gearboxes, with single clutch and no synchros, as in older cars.

@yellowclone
I was not vague, I made a statement in a specific context (Fiat 500 and such), it's supposed to be grasped in that context. "All" of those.

From your previous post, it looked pretty vague. You might have meant the Fiat 500 and such, but that was not mentioned. You referred to non-syncro geared cars, with a common h-pattern, and single clutch. I get what you were saying and I understood, but it was still a vague statement. Some might read that as all non-syncro, h-pattern transmission, with a single clutch have to be driven that way. I guess you might have thought it was assumed that's what you were talking about, and I knew what you were talking about, but people that might not read the page before (most people on GTP), might not know exactly what you referring to, and made their own assumption that all cars that are non-syncronized have to be that way. That was my whole point. Anyway, this is way off topic, and pointless bickering, but I thought I would explain why I kept on this topic. I know that alot on here is vague information, but I picked this subject because I know the most about it vs other things on here, LOL.

That is a nice and simple setup. I have an almost similar setup except for a bigger screen and for a chair, it's the classic French Cafe chair for the harder race car feel ;):

I'm afraid the pursuit of realism stops with me when matters concerning the comfort of one's buttocks arise.

From what I can see, it looks like one is the '03 model and the other the '06 version.

This is correct - or at least as correct as the information we got out of Aston.

I'm not really that worried on that car page stated on that initial Apex Magazine above. Its just a prototype page just like the screens on that short Playview demo at TGS indicating the wrong Evo (on which the Skyline was depicted). Come on people, don't let this thing fool everyone. :indiff:

198 cars I count there. I also think that someone should make a new mster car list and post this list on it since that is very useful and many members including me liked it very much.
