Hehe, nevermind, eh? ;)

I don't know why, but I keep watching these videos. Perhaps it's the vain hope that something new will pop out at me.
Interestingly, I just noticed that, at 5:22, Jeff Gordon is wearing my headphones... :odd:

I double-checked the catalogue, and it turns out I got a good deal on them! That's cheered me up. :D

Some say he instructs the celebrities by injecting thoughts into their minds.

...

I actually lol'ed.

Is Clarkson in there possibly to speak over the Stig when you realize he does not speak? Might have gone in the studio undercover.

🤬 Clarkson. I can't even read Top Gear magazine without his voice flowing from the articles (or anything automotive related really).

Sounds like sig edition pre orders aren't as high as they hoped or they're much higher than they anticipated. I'd bet on the first if this price hike is real.
The rules of supply and demand would suggest your bet is wrong.

Demand low, Supply high = price lower
Demand high, Supply low = price higher

In regards to the DB9R, Famine mentioned it was requested, presumably for photography and/or modeling. I had an idea on why it isn't in the Apex book- it could be the result of race-modifying the DB9 💡

Interesting although unlikey in my opinion, would that also mean we get a 599XX or EnzoFXX or Gran Turismo MC Corsa, etc., etc. going by that logic?
Seeing as most racecars based on roadcars seem to be listed as seperate cars I find it hard to believe this may actually happen.
Could be wrong ofcourse ( not for the first time ).

Further clarification, I meant the race-mod is probably PD designed I reckon and maybe loosely based on real race versions of that car, to actually get the real race version using race-mod might be even better.

New video from Sony Holiday event in Toronto. A Sony rep confirms theres 70 track layouts. Not sure if this was posted already-apologies if it has :)

Thanks, that was an interesting watch despite nothing new. What caught my ear was when he said that "we have the final product here today...". I somehow doubt that. Haven't people been reporting that it's an old demo build?

By the way, he said there is more than 70 track layouts so it's still the old 20/70 location/variation confirmation which is not very specific. Yamauchi also said that there will be 70 unique circuits and other sources have said +100 track layouts so time will tell whatever they mean.

I heard the same think at the Paris Motor Show from the GT5 demo guy.
"It's the full game, with all cars and tracks". Obviously it was just the same demo build as everywhere. (sigh)

Or probably we'll see the DBR9 in a future GT game. I remember reading somewhere that PD were recording sounds of a Miura during GT4's development but the Miura finally appeared in GT5. I might be wrong though.

I don't remember there being dirt debris flying in Toscana at E3.

I'm talking about the build shown at that Canadian event. When I saw that interview posted above I went and found a video from that event on YouTube and saw right away that it wasn't even up to date with the gamescom build.

Yes nothing new, except he mentioned 70 TRACK layouts-not variations.
Still confusing! :)

How funny. I didn't notice it until the end, but if you watch the video beginning at 1:45, he starts slowing toward a fence at at the corner. When he drives by it at around 1:49, it says that he is driving 35mph (about 56 km/h), but he appears to be driving no faster than 10mph (16 km/h), if even that.

We I tend to take what Sony reps say with a grain of salt.

"I think we have the final product here today..."

Edit: Sorry, it sounded a bit terse. Amazing the difference by changing "we" to "I."

I don't even think the majority of Sony employees know the specifics on the subject. The communication between PD and Sony in Japan is possibly decent but I can imagine a lot of information gets interpretated differently in their regional offices. So I don't think it has a deeper meaning when he says "layouts" instead of variations. My outsider observation could be wrong though. I just try not to put too much thought into their numbers and facts unless it comes directly from a PD employee such as Kaz.

Hmm.. where is that part in the world where it gets dark within 1 minute ?

Yes it looks great. But its not real-time... NOT-REAL = NOT-NICE
