Those who have no social life or a job should be rewarded?
If you're one of those who has time to do a straight 24hr race you feel you should be rewarded. Those who can't do that don't think it would be fair.
I understand if every single player who bought GT5 had the opportunity to do that then yeah, why not. However I don't see every country in the world making a national holiday for GT5 players so that they can have a care free 24hr period.

agreed, a job, a social life and sharing your PS3 should not be bariers to complete a game....

and for the people that keep yelling it is not real so it is no fun.
I think you should have saved the money you spend on games, steering wheel, screen and so on.

If you'd done that you could have gotten you C-licence in real life...

I understand that it is great that GT is trying to be as real as posible but in the end it is still a game. And it should be enjoyable for everyone.

Ah yes, good suggestion!
With any tall old vehicle (Fiat 500, VW Samba bus, etc) equipped with race tires it should be easy.
If you attempt this, try with N1/N2 tires too.

Another thing I found really cool was during replay in the interior car view driver view. The driver position his hand differently to hit the paddles of the cars containing paddles. PD really impressed me with this detail 👍

Do you mean in replays the movement of the fingers on the paddles is different from when seeing it while driving in real time?

After experience the physics I have to say I am very glad PD decided to put those 800 standard cars in the game. Yes I wish they where all premium and had cockpit views, but what i'm really happy about is how damn good the game felt. The driving experience we will get with these 1000 cars is going to be tons of fun for years.

I completed all three 24hr races in GT4 in A-Spec. I'd like for you to tell me that, at that time, I had no social life or job.

I wish though that GT had some kind of community thing going on. Yes we are the GT community, but there is no interaction. Where is the fan requests that they speak of? Where do they get it from?

Wow, thats some major backlash I did not see coming, though I did say that it might be a slap in the face of Forza fans to do that and it looks as if they feel that way.

It's so pathetic, instead of just accepting GT5 as a (better) game Microsoft does everything to hold back GT5's success. Why don't they just focus on making Forza 4 better than GT5? I'm so glad that Forza Fans aren't stupid enough to support this "Ultimate Edition" BS, T10 and Mircrosoft have to learn that it's not just about making money.

These actions are among the reasons I despise Micro$oft and their tactics with the xBox360. It's not about games at all. It's about beating Sony! Just like the pc side is just about beating the superior product Apple offers. They're like leeches!!!

Yes i agree^ they should just make forza 4 better because they had a years head start on GT6, and that year has finished now and they are still worried about forza 3.

Shame... I really liked the game (I was a fan) and I downloaded almost every single DLC, but who in the right mind would buy the game twice for a few extras? Not me, anyway.

Fortunately, I am also a GT fan and will gladly spend my money on buying GT5 instead.

Why don't they just focus on making Forza 4 better than GT5?

They could try, but they would fail, and MS know this.
Polyphony Digital have more game-making talent in one finger than T10 have in their entire staff. Even if they were to take 10 years on the next Forza game, it still wouldn't be as good as GT.

Compared to T10, PD are just too damn talented.

It sounds logic. They have the world GT premiere the 26th in Madrid; they want to unveil the game.
