Seen that for quite some time, but it's got me wondering...with that paint option, will we have the ability to paint our car in the game with any color we want? I mean, not just 'market colors'...

I know there hasn't been an absolute assurance about this, I just wanted to give out something that has been in my head.....

The fact that you have to pay 5000C to paint your car, and the design of the icon, makes me think we can paint in any color we choose. We can also paint the wheels and we don't get to choose a color for those when we buy a car.

TVR's in the game, so it's not like there's gonna be any difference. I mean seriously, have you seen the bazillion colour options for EACH car?

We have rain, we have dirt tracks. Water & dirt equals mud. Can we expect mud, with cars getting dirty, mud flying everywhere etc?

Could the forum creators not put a spell check on the message toolbar if users not using proper English and making some mistakes is such a big problem ? yes text speak should be policed but at the end of the day this forum is used worldwide by people who's main language may not be English and they may have no real teaching of the language. Take the Mitsubishi Starion as an example.

You can switch it in game play also my camera was dying so I only captured replay will put up more videos and pics tomorrow.

Hmm I can't believe it , this other type roofcam is just available in the replay.
Not during gameplay. That was the case in GT5p and in all other Demo Builds. And Yamauchi said it was just 4 Gameplay cameras.

How many different camera angles did gt4 have during replays ? i know there were quite few.

I don't know the exact number , but you're right it was a few. Different types of roof and chase cams for example. I liked the replay cams always better than the gameplay cams though. Don't know why Yamauchi don't add them to the gameplay...

There is something thati have been thinking, many ppl say that we will have bumper and sideskirt changes but is this confirmed? i mean it would be extremely hard to change aero parts on 1000+ cars

It's probably not going to be applicable for all of the cars in the game. The premiums will likely have full customization, whereas the standard vehicles will only be limited to wheels and spoilers ala GT4.

I am spanish and what I do when I don't know how to say something is use the Google Translator to get a reference (never use it literally! xD) of how I could make the sentence.

About mud, we have already seen a dirty car on the E3 2009 trailer, but not with mud. Anyway, it would be just a texture changing so... why not?

What a snob.

Not every member of this forum is fluent in English. If this was a Business Plan or a work project then yes the correct use of capitals, spelling and punctuation is necessary but on a down-time forum where people want to chat about a love of gaming we shouldn't be as strict. Some people make spelling mistakes or mistype words...so be it.

Let's give people a little bit of slack on a forum that should be fun. This is not an examination board. It's possible to do this without standards slipping in to marshland.

Mods don't ban you because you don't type "I" (first person singular) in capital letters, they encourage you a couple of times to correct your mistakes. If you keep doing the same mistakes on purpose or because you're simply used to I suppose the only thing they could do is give infractions. They're comprehensive only with users that are not native americans or british. It is a question of respect, not to mention that GTPlanet is becoming a serious community. Mods are doing their best to keep it clean.

Apparently "police" got nothing better to do.
Besides, shouldn't it be "capitalized"? :dopey:

A large portion of the community come here for the quality posts and all round professionalism. That's what makes this site so good. If people don't like that, then find the door.

Then all the Americans would be banned because none of them know how to spell colour or aluminium, among other seemingly easy-to-spell words. And I don't think the Admins would like half (or more) of the members banned because they can't speak English :sly:

There's a bit more to it than that. Beyond the normal tarmac to wet tarmac (or whatever), mud would leave a much bigger imprint (or pile of itself) on anything behind it. Now, I'd love to see B-Spec Bob covered in Mud because I've been doing donuts in a Monaro all around him and he's in that Benz wagen thing from the late 1880's. BUT, then you've also got to deal with getting bogged down and stuck, which 99% of the cars would have happen to them.

People don't come here for reading arrogant posts either. My two cents. :)

What a tyrant, so we can't even have an opinion about stuff? That's the same basis as a ditactorial regime, obey the rules and don't talk or have an opinion. If this site wants to become better day-by-day it has to promote the discussion of the rules and general guidelines between community members because they are the ones that keep this site alive, if a person is insatisfied they can just leave, but you can't kick a group of people who isn't satisfied, you have to talk to them to see if there is a problem and try to work it out with them.

I'm probably a bit harsh, but that's about the 10th post I've seen in a week winging about the grammar and punctuation rules.

tl:dr herp derp iiTz gtn 4noy1ng.

Oh and I suggest people read my posts correctly before they accuse me of wanting to ban users with poor english skills.
