hi guys! i think im in the right thread..

can we race with the cars we tuned in our gt mode or is it arcade style online racing?
in gt4, when me and my friends have a memory card battle, the cars were crazy spinning the tires and not doing anything except spinning tires.. please help

without the feature of being able to race with GT mode cars is throwing me off a bit.. no online drag races with our tuned cars, no time record of nurburgring with a certain car category (same exact car as a category but different tune ups).. u get me?

I really don't like that they allow MT transmission on cars that don't have that in reality. I hope this is sorted out in GT5.

I know what you mean, and although it's been explained to you how it works in Prologue, the main argument or objection remains, that's why I created this thread.
Hopefully it provides some more insight as you're not alone in wishing for more accurate automatics.:)

I hope that the co-driver in GT5 reads much quicker than this woman. You can see that the driver is visibly frustrated, not only with the intercom failure, but with the pace that she is reading. If you put together what she is saying and the features one the road, she is only about 1 corner ahead of the driver. A co-driver should be at least 2-3 corners ahead of the driver. If you have a good driver you can even read quicker than that.

I could see a possibility that the GT5 co-driver may glitch for time-to-time with these randomly generated rally tracks. Let's see!

I don't even expect a co-driver in GT5. Don't remember there being one in GT2, 3 or 4.

Yes, it was confirmed during TGS's breakout session by Kaz himself.
Rally tracks will randomly be generated as you drive through it, forcing you to rely on your co driver in order to know what's coming up. I think it's a nice feature as not only will it create unlimited rally tracks, but also teach you how to properly attack them as well.
 
Yes width, and length of track, bank angle of turns, and sharpness of turns.

Edit: Sorry daan but you should have told me to put the word "and" in there as well for it to be proper. :)

Weird only a 3 hour time span to choose from.

Wow so it automatically selects the layout for you of what the track will look like. I was hoping for more control.

I guess in the tabs on the upper right you can there select your curves and such but I see no option of width of track.

I don't think so, it shouldnt be so hard for the computer to say what it is generating. A glitch like that wouldn't get an inch past Kaz.

I agree, features like this make the 5 year wait almost seem worth it...almost, lol. And I know what Kaz said, but do you really believe the tracks will be randomly generated as you drive thru or will the computer randomly generate a course before the start?
