Guy, if the game was delayed, do you honestly think they would have given an official Japanese release date at TGS just 1.5 months before it is scheduled to be released. If it was going to be delayed, they would have known then, since they probably only had a couple more weeks to go gold. Some regions, however, might get delayed because of conflicts, but I don't think the rest of the regions will be delayed, and will stick to their original release dates.

To me, what tells that these videos are from rather old builds are gear shifts.
In newer ones from recent game shows they have been significantly sped up and made smoother in order to match those typical of real race drivers.

I love how people get all bent out of shape from a crappy video. "it sounds so bad" "the graphics are sorry" Chill out... It's just a mock up video of some things thrown together. Just like the course creator video. That was done mighty fast. It's just a quick 1 minute video to show you some of what GT5 will have to offer. Might I add that track looked fun, elevation changes and long sweeping tightening radius turns, challenging!

About the color issue, if you paid attention in school, they taught you about the rainbow. The color you see if the color being reflected. Each color absorbs every other color except the one being REFLECTED back, so that's what you see. In the case of White or Black, white reflects EVERY color, Black absorbs every color.

Car sound is so so coz of Bad video qualty.. Retail version is much better. Do Not worry .

Seriously? There's only so much video and audio can be messed up with "bad quality video" and if this isn't what the final retail version will sound like then why put it on a retailers website a few weeks before it's due to go on sale? Joe Blogs isn't going to be very impressed or make excuses to write it off.

I am a little more worried about this delay "rumor" now, after going shopping to Meadowhall (large shopping mall) I went in HMV (cd's dvd's games retailer) and Oh ooh all of the gt5 pre-order boxes & advertising has had a sticker put over the release date with an updated date saying "released on Nov 26th" I took a pic & will put it up asap as its on my phone. Other game shops still had the 5th on there boxes so.... the mystery continues.

HMV's website is still quoting the 5th as the release date. Part of me would expect a retailer to update their central systems before informing branches, but the other part of me long ago gave up expecting logic from UK retailers.

WOW did you see any skid marks are backfire from hard braking? Nah I don't think so. Lets wait till its in our PS3 👍

The tires look dirty and dusty also.
As i said before PD are giving us small bits of GT5. They are holding their creation tight.

Yet for some strange reason, people can't come to terms with this.:ouch:

Hmm just seen on an (not so good) german PS3 news site, that the delay will be officially announced by Sony tomorrow... Mhh if that´s really true, they really make many people very angry...

After Microsoft did that own goal with FM3 Ultimate Edition, how can PD/Sony can do such an mistake... It was the perfect time to bring new xbox fans to the PS3...

I was about to put my xbox360 and FM3 in ebay but now maybe I will keep it for a while now...

Mhh let´s chill and hope it´s not true...

I have a feeling that if GT5 isn't great for some people you will get a good deal for the 360 and FM3 on Ebay. Just sayin' ;)

I saw that aswel plus all the other games retailers still had the 5th on there shelfs, ( Game is opening at midnight ) so fingers crossed its just that particular hmv store has made a c*ck up of something.

Even if they do delay it, the translation says it will only be a couple weeks.
As long as I get my collectors edition before the end of November I'll be happy.

It's more a case of confusion as to why they PR material is so unrefined. If I were them, I wouldn't want that released to the public at this stage. I realise it may be an old build, but they present it as new material, and it reflects badly on the product that is (pray to god) just a few weeks from launch. I'm not angry, but I AM confused and becoming skeptical.

Looks amazing, sounds alright as far as I'm concerned. I also have one eye/ear on the final product considering these are incomplete, presumably 'old' builds. Who knows what the final product is going to look, sound & play like.

The tires look dirty and dusty also.
Anyone got a clear picture of this? I've heard it mentioned before with a Ferrari but never seen it with my own eyes.

Maybe I didn't make my point clearly, for the record I don't really think PD could claim to have improved the sounds if this is what their attempt at what an F1 sounds like.

Assuming the sounds in these videos aren't representative of the final game then, from a marketing perspective, why would you put them up on the preorder page of the product that is due to release in a few weeks without adding a disclaimer that this is not the final product? Sure it looks great but it sounds like something from an Amiga!

As I said, the news site is really not the best and they post so often so many ********, so you can take this 1% serious...

I'm hoping that they release a statement about it. Just clear everything up. If it's still coming out on time then make it clear that it won't be changing and if it's delayed then make that just as clear, even if it's just certain territories.

@Griffith500

Thank you! Tried using Google to find the post but only got a post by SolidSnakex mentioning it as an "internal video".

So... it wasn't anything serious after all.

EDIT:

Oh yeah, what was the parameters KY stated for the Course Creator? I remember something about it being locked at 10km\4.5miles and only 4 sectors...

Not very clear, and doesn't really confirm anything, but they do look dirty (whilst the wheels don't :odd:)

@ Kusogaki: no prob's, man! I don't really know what the deal was, although some of the footage was clearly from the GTPSP intro. The rest was pretty standard, non-scandalous stuff... :P

Headlights and glasses are strangely clean too.
I wonder if in the final build we will be able to use wipers AND the washer to clean dirt from the windshield.

Being that there is no other car on the track, there should not be dirt in front of the front wheel well. Unless it has been driving in reverse quite a bit. Also, I wonder how they will display early stages of water splashing onto the side of a filthy car.

How could SCEE allow the screw up of the release of a game in the region where it will make the most money? I expect bad news tomorrow and an angry reaction that will be 100% deserved. How could you drop the ball on something like this?
