I expect negative news today or tomorrow. Why else would HMV staff at UK readjust the release date for later in November? I just hope this BS doesnt mean a delay in NA too. If it does, then some of the good will I have this franchise will be diminished.

My only negative comment is I feel Sony have missed an opportunity. I heard PSN plus isn't doing very well. If Sony had released a GT5 demo which was only available to plus members imagine how many people would of joined.

I will add its going to be a new experience for me. Never ever used a wheel before for any racing game. I was going to practice on GT5P but because the physics engine is going to be different I couldn't see the point. I am looking forward to the challenge though.

I've never used a wheel before either, I have my G27 set up on a wheelstand pro sitting in the corner waiting for GT5. I was going to use it on GT5P, but I think I'm going to just wait for GT5 and use the license tests to get used to it.

Yes im the same. Im hoping doing the licence tests and offline events will get me used to the wheel. Once I have done so I will venture online.

I do have a problem though. Does everyone use their left foot for braking if they don't use the clutch. I ask because i've unfortunately slipped another disc in my spine and cannot feel or move my left foot.

I got myself a G27 and WSP too. I have only using my wheel mounted on a table. The driving is something you must get used too. I am new with a wheel too. Can somebody please help me and explain how to correct the beginning of a spin. I tried many things but could not get it back under control, my actions only made it more:tdown:

I use my right for braking sometimes. Its not that much of a difference, you should be fine using your right foot.

So after watching the course maker video, i had a couple questions...
I have not found the answers to them.
I am wondering if when you save your track will you be able to bring it up in arcade mode or whatever and have the AI to race against? Any possibilities of having more than just you on the track? If this is going to happen i would forsure be spending A lOT of time in course maker:tup:👍. by the video it already looks like ill put some hours into course maker...

Also, do you think that you could race it in reverse? Or does anyone else really care for that feature?

Mainly I am wondering about my first question. Of racing AI on course maker?

Anyone know.

Recieved my Wheelstand Pro on Monday so my set up is complete.

I now have the perfect set up for GT5 which is a Sony Bravia TV, G25+WSP, Surround sound system. As i've played video games since the 1980s this is definitively going to be the highlight of all these years of playing video games.

This is pretty similar to my thoughts and feelings...
I recently bought a 1080p Sony bravia, Logiteck DFPro wheel, and a Wheelstand Pro, and a 5.1 DD surround sound system.
I have also been playing video games for nearly 30 years too, and just like you, think this is going to be the crowning glory of Video games so far and for a good few years to come.

Someone earlier said that there is dynamic racing line so AI should be able to race at course maker tracks.

I can assure you, it's not rumors about delay in Russia. Sadly, it's unclear at the moment, if there are delays coming to other countries...
But I still hope that European and other launches (including Australia, of course ) won't get delayed. It's just so wrong for SCEE to screw up such a big launch.
You know, we're kind of used to delays in Russia. Problems with shipping and localization occur here pretty often. But I think GT5 launch in Western Europe must be as stable as a Swiss-made watches.

You are right. GT5 was delayed in Japan last year, should not happen for every other country now.

ps: I was wonder that maybe the Russian journalist take the news from the kgb radio interceptor. Mr Kaz uses that instead twitter for official statements to Sony.

I suppose in Madrid they will show us a lot, almost everything.... almost.
Delay is confirmed for Russia. We don't have to worry in advance.
By now, no news = good news.

However, even in a case of a delay (please no), they can actually make the big premier event. I can't see why they could not do it.

A delay, yet to be confirmed outside Russia, and yet nothing more than rumour, would bad news. But...

The government annouced that VAT will increase from 21% to 23%.
State workers will have a cut in their wages between 3,5% to 10%.
Tax contribution in their monthly wages for Social Assistance will increase 1%.
No retirement pensions updates for 2011.
The state will reduce greatly its contribution in a vast majority of medications.
Gas suffer a 0,18€ increase per litter yesterday.
Unemployment rate is the highest ever.
The public deficit is above 7,5% of the NGP.

...so GT5 is being delayed? How bad does it looks now?...

People... as epic as it may be, still it's nothing more that what it is. A game.
