I dont like the sound of that, Chinese Conspiracy wasnt Guns and Roses finest hour!

This is what happens when you change things over and over again
The only difference between gnr and GT is I've still got a glimmer of hope for GT .GNR really suck without Slash,Duff and Matt

Agree you see my avatar!! I listen new GNR on september 23 not bad... But Slash is THE KING! :D

What worries me is not the fact that we will have to wait another 6-8 weeks past November 2nd. What worries me is that the longer they delay it, the less chance there will be that GT6 will be a PS3 title. Which is funny because Kaz himself actually stated at TGS that they had begun work on GT6. So So how can they still be perfecting GT5?

gt6 a ps3 title? forget it man. seriously, it will be a ps4 title at best. maybe ps5...

Back in the days of the previous delay there was this joke about GT5 and duke nukem. Unfortunately I can't use it any more, because duke is probably going to be released before gt5.

Ok important update:

notice that says holiday season 2010 so at least that leads to know that it will be coming this year, probably December.

but dude. havent you learned yet that you simply can not trust what polyphony says! they once told us beggining of 2010, didnt happen. then they told us end of 2010. doesnt happen either. i can only see this game coming next year, and probably somewhere around the summer. iam sorry to say.. :guilty:

So having it on sale for a shorter amount of time before Christmas would allow the game to achieve more sales? How does that work?

Its only going to be 3 weeks or so, plus it looks good on paper for the xmas weeks sale figures, they're still going to sell the same amount regardless of how many people moan that they wont be buying it. But sticking it as a new, fresh release for xmas will put added pressure on all those mummies and daddies to buy bundles, instead of waiting said few weeks from a November release. Thus, the day one sales look even better, because not only would you get the same sales from folks who would have got it in November but you also get the same sales from xmas shoppers. Its like doubling the sales figures on paper, without really doing much!

But in my expericene if something is happening and it makes zero sense... Money is the main reason as to why its happening.

So to close I really do believe it could very well be a marketing ploy to boost first day sales.

We sincerely apologize to GT fans for the delay, however, creator Kazunori Yamauchi and the team at Polyphony Digital want to make certain that it is not just Xbox owners that get to watch some fireworks in the UK this year, and we are confident that this ambitious game will exceed expectations when it launches.

Just got first view on you tube.

Fantastic. Thanks for that. Well done.

I love GT delays, there's always so much fun we can have without the stupid bloody game.

Well done.  (Yeah I know that smiley doesn't exist but lets just pretend it does.)
