Look At this one.

Interesting, Hmm well that bar is in a different spot than the other one, and since the other 2 are stated Physical/Mental, Then I wonder if that red/blue bar in the middle truely is damage. That one has a less cracked helmet too, from what it looks like anyways.

Edit: In the picture up on the top left it does have empty spaces for what looks to be engine/suspension/tire damage.

Could anyone please explain this whole "Ben Collins"-story or am I the only one not getting that joke?

A while ago, before the reason for the delay was stated, bill collins is the "ex stig" and there was a joke going around that he was causing the delay because he wasn't getting paid like the other race drivers were in GT5 and he removed himself from the game. I may of said that wrong, but that's the jist of it. lol

Those are Standard cars, except for the VW bus, correct? If so, have there been any other shots of the standard and premium cars mixed?

edit: sorry, I found it in the standard vs premium thread.

Mike

I believe you are correct. Which is good, because I was getting worried that we couldn't mix the two.

Could the blue/red bar be the indicator for the driver to push hard or to just drive safely without attacking ?

Could very well be, I totally forgot about that, B spec mode had that before with how aggressively the driver approached corners, pushed the car in/out of the corners etc and how aggressively they passed.

squares around always refers to view options, maybe is a pop up menu for the on-replay cameras (or photo mode cameras)
or just a way to arrange different viewing cameras as the one detailed here bottom right.

similar icon is vaguely viewed on spectator mode

It's the calm/agitated meter

Anybody noticed the missing door?

I'm so happy that you can tear them off, it looks pretty ridiculous in some gameplay videos where the door is constantly swinging back and forth.

and this option?

B-spec?
Head tracking?

I presume it is an "options" icon (design makes it plausible too) - if I remember well, in GT4 we had an "option" icon in the pause menu for adjusting brightness/contrast and some other stuff which I can't recall at this point.

neither following the link, maybe imgshackin' it works:

edit, oh you just host it well, great.

damage level on their max setting there.

She's pretty cute. You can see her here after the trailer at 2:28 and later again in the video :)

I definitely want one. If it came with the Signature Edition I would have bought that for sure.

If I was racing, and my door wouldn't shut, it would constantly be swinging back and forth. ;)

Yes, but it would be torn off at crashes - and that was missing in the latest demo builds ...this is the first time I've seen a car completely without it's door in videos or screenshots.

Those pictures are a year old aren't they, or maybe more? We've seen videos of the STI rally car losing both doors during a race on Tokyo246.

local distributor here ( www.cdmarket.com.ar ) has just confirmed that November 30th is the release date in the US, here in Argentina, we'll be playing aprox on December 7th.

http://www.cdmarket.com.ar/View/2254/gran-turismo-5.aspx

The data was collected an hour ago from the distro at US, hope they keep it as it is

Thanks to cdmarket.com.ar's Fatez in Argentina.

Nice. I could live with that date. Delay of 4 weeks isn't bad. Hopefully Sony can confirm the new date soon, but with it being the weekend, I doubt we will hear anything until Monday at earliest.

Are you serious? >_>
Must have missed that completely ...you mind looking for that video?

yes, surely on monday we'll get official news, that data was gathered form a private host, where local distros check the releases to arrange pre-orders and online sales, btw, that website already posted the December 7th as an Argentinean date (due to shipping time), hope it becomes official.

Missing doors, why does everyone assume this is damage due to an accident?
Might be a new more extreme final weight saving stage, they did say customization or in this case tuning I guess would be more comprehensive in GT5 didn't they? ;)
