 Do we get a sticker sheet with the Apex book!?

That'd be cooooooool!

No wait. Looks like just the ultimate edition. :( Rats!

it's not, it's the chinese collectors edition and they get the SLS which is only suppose to come with the signature edition...that's not fair... =(

and it seems they're guaranteed the stealth sls.. - . -

 If the hood pops up, you should be forced into cockpit mode to help limit people wanting to damage one another thus help to encourage cleaner driving. But I'm pretty confident that won't happen.

Jerome

That, or take example on Marko Martin

Edit: darn, how to you embed youtube videos again?

Edit2: Thanks, zod

i hope that causes some massive drag and once you reach a certain speed it should smash your wind shield and if there are no wind shield cracks, the hood should at least snap off

It'd also be cool if in cockpit view you could lean to the side a little with head tracker

Since we are on the topic of damage, does anyone think we will see much damage to the roof of a car if we roll it? I'm pretty sure we will see scratches and things.. but how likely is it that the top of the car could cave in a little..?

On Laguna Seca - more bad driving :/
The throttle meter never seems to move off 100%.....

There is some pretty loud transmission whine in the background
Bumper cam, looks lower than before

Check out the outfit from the same show 2 years ago :D

Oh my God. I can barely watch videos w/drivers like him: Way too much gas, turning the wheel too violently, over-correcting. Someone should create like a "greatest hits" video featuring the worst driving in the GT5 videos. :dopey:

A 3 day delay for PD equates to a 3 week push back for Sony.

Im mistaken, 4 weeks...and I hope it's true.

Yeah, but Sony do all their own Blu-ray pressing as well as pressing for other companies. PD missing the production date by three days could still mean they missed the beginning of their run which could mean they wouldn't produce enough copies. They can't push back the runs of other games and movies, because other companies have paid Sony to do production and they're not going to accept GT5 being late as an excuse for not enough holiday Blu-ray stock.

3 days is a long time.

Yep, it is sort of like leaving for work during rush hour. You leave at 7 and make it there in 45 minutes. So you leave at 10 minutes after 7 the next day, thinking "oh that will still give me 5 minutes". However, it is EXPONENTIAL. Leaving 10 minutes later during rush hour means it will take you an extra 20 minutes to get to work. And now you are late. :ouch:

(this does not relate at all, sorry)

Do these replication plant's sit idle when a game or movie doesn't make it's slot?

It would be crazy if that is the case. I mean if these "slot's" are pre-booked, you can't just fill the gap with something else because it would either be too early or too late.

God, this delay is really getting to me now...

Missing doors, why does everyone assume this is damage due to an accident?
Might be a new more extreme final weight saving stage, they did say customization or in this case tuning I guess would be more comprehensive in GT5 didn't they? ;)

To do that would increase drag and decrease performance....

To make this analogy work:

It's like leaving for work and running into rush hour, construction and other things and, now, instead of arriving on time, you're 3 hours late...and fired.

Maybe we should all invoke a disciplinary system on PD.

Currently they are on their second written and if they are late one more time, then they are terminated. :dopey:

Thanks a lot, can't believe I missed that ...looks nice, especially that crash at 0:25 :D
They really need to show us some of the more violent crashes, I even got excited just by seeing that
litte crash ...wonder how they'll handle the camera (especially cockpit) with that opened hood...

I hope it forces the driver (if not already) into cockpit view with not being able to change the view.

is that the final damage build ? if it is I'm a bit disappointed, the car takes a massive hit and never breaks the headlights (they stay pristine) they could have at least made them dislodge ! also for all the damage taken by the body the paint work is still as it was before the impact showing no scrapes or scratches.also the Lancer is not damaged even after running straight into the back of into the Subaru ! Yeah at first view it has the wow factor but the devil is in the detail

Gotta ask... why pre-order from them over GS? They don't seem to be offering any kind of deals. GS just happens to be closer to me too, which made my choice easier in this town.

Why BB Canada over GS? Two reasons.

1) I bit the bullet one night when BBC was offering a 10% discount on pre-orders,

2) I've ordered online from BBC regularly, and usually get fast, effecient (and free) delivery. I've never tried GS online, and didn't care to start with such an important order. Also I've been in about half a dozen local EBG/GS storefronts, and the staff has been invariably sour/bitter, and the "deals" for games and consoles actually not all that great.
