Hoping for a mid-late November release of Gran Turismo 5? Well don't. Leading UK retailer GAME has been e-mailing customers telling them that the game is delayed until December. The e-mail goes as follows - "As you may already be aware, the UK release date for Gran Turismo 5 has changed to Dec-2010. Changes to release dates are relatively common in the videogames industry and are unfortunately beyond our control."

Going to post that same thing in another 3 hours? I understand no one acknowledged you, but that option is nothing new. It was pointed out numerous times in the TGS images. All anyone has are guesses as to what it means.

It's still the 2008 model, the new 2011 model looks like this, notice the difference in the lower end of the front bumper.

Don't know to be honest, just found out there was a facelifted new DB9 at all due to you mentioning it, just wanted to check if it was true and whether any new Astons could be included.
But the visual differences do indeed seem very small, why facelift miss world?

The Facelifted one looks a bit like a V8 vantage.

It's an '06, meaning the exact same 450hp engine as the '03 Standard in the game. There are no differences between the two years in real life bar colour options.

I know I am being extremely nit-picky, but I wish PD would take the front license plate off of some of the cars. It takes away from the cleanliness and the overall lines of the car in my opinion.

Didn't Kaz mention a "license plate editor" in that infamous presentation that included livery editor? That'd be preferable to me, so we could all have our own plates 👍

The majority of the tuned cars in Prologue had the number plate missing, maybe we could do just that, directly via customisation options, or as a result of other options (e.g. replacement bumpers)

If the game was due to be pressed Monday 11th Oct for a 3rd Nov release that's about 23 days needed to process the whole package.

Assuming all the magazines, models and keyrings are done. I would imagine the Second week of November would realistically be the last days of submission for a Xmas release.

Pure speculation for what it's worth.

Unless they don't need a full 23 days to process the whole package, but that was when the processing facility had them scheduled.

Doesn't add up. 2nd week of november would give you ~40 days til christmas starting with Nov 14, the 3rd week. It also doesn't make sense for them to release it on the Dec 21st, way too close. I know that late shoppers are aplenty but that's cutting it close.
Let's just assume that Nov 23rd -dec 7th would be the ideal window for us/them.

The date is just a place holder, just a temporary date. We will get another official release date by the end of the month (I hope )

I surprised that Amazon.com hasn't sent a notice of the date change yet on my preorder. Maybe they fearing cancellations.

If the hood pops up, you should be forced into cockpit mode to help limit people wanting to damage one another thus help to encourage cleaner driving. But I'm pretty confident that won't happen.

They really need to show us some of the more violent crashes, I even got excited just by seeing that

i hope that causes some massive drag and once you reach a certain speed it should smash your wind shield and if there are no wind shield cracks, the hood should at least snap off
