LOL. Yeah, that's impossible. You will never EVER find a song that EVERYONE likes. That's just a fact of life. MCR's latest stuff has been very good. I like the decision.

Haha that is so true but I agree with the guy who said 90s rock/metal kicks the hell outta this modern stuff, still it is something different I suppose.

Oops sorry for dp..

Every GT game has had "alternative" music in it. They always use different styles of music that might not appeal to everyone.

Take the music in GT5 prologue for example its full of very "alternative" music. Who's to say what alternative is anyway? Any song that doesn't get thrashed ten thousand times on the radio?

Anyway........... A lot of GT music is kind of emotional and powerful which is exactly the kind of music MCR make. Im sure it will be fine 👍

-> Everytime I see MCR, I always remind myself to this...

...not the music band. :boggled:

Yea, I'm kind of an Indie music fan, but that song isn't all bad. However, if I were PD, I would not use a band a lot of people have heard of. It is too controversial and I don't think it was very smart.

I personally think due to it being MCR and being the new song on an album that doesn't even come out to november 22nd, It's just to benefit the group. Example, The Cardigans - My Favourite Game was in GT 2's intro, and it fit it rather well, I dunno, Important thing is, the intro will suit half of the userbase for preference, the game will suit us all as there is no such thing as a Gran Turismo we don't play for 5 years.:D , looking back on 1 and 2, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JR0Eb6zR_-w There's a flashback for us all lol. I remember how much fun I had in the TT GTO, Can't wait for fuel/tire damage and all the new things to come with GT 5.

It's not PD picking the songs it's SCEA (and SCEE in the case of whatever the European song is). But all of the GT's have had songs by popular artists. GT1 had a Chemical Bros. remix of a Manic Street Preachers song, GT2 had a song by The Cardigans, GT3 had a song by Lenny Kravitz and GT4 had a song by Van Halen.

We can hope for some Lady Gaga in GT6
PO-PO-PO-PO-POKER FACE! MUM MUM MUM MAH:dunce:

Just so Everyone has an idea of how fast the X1 really is....here is a speed up video of suzuka!

My head would totally explode if I were driving that fast in real life!:scared::nervous::crazy:

my head nearly exploded with the f2007, in a video game.. I dont think I will be able to handle this one (In game) either, Especially not with a wheel, as the force feedback was impossible to control with the F1 car.

When I first used the F2007 in Prologue I thought the speed was absurd, especially considering I was driving it on Eiger. It doesn't take long though for your brain to "speed up" and it becomes the norm. I have no issues with the F2007 and the force feedback, though I only keep my FF on 4 and not 10 like the majority seems to do.

The problem is not the speed or the force feedback. It's the steering angle:scared:. Seriously they could have fixed it in Spec III.

With the exceptions of GT1 & GT2, I typically turned off all the music in games & turned up the car sounds. I would expect GT5 to carry over an option that was in GT4 that allowed you to disable the opening movie, once booting up the game & going straight to the desktop, thus bypassing the opening song. This feature was located in the Options/Misc folder.

Yes, I kept my force feedback fairly low when I used it (After the first time of course), but the problem was when you reached the really high speeds (With the light car) the car would start to swerve and go out of control, and you really had to get a hard grip on the wheel (I ripped it off the table many times).

I never tried it on eiger, Just suzuka, daytona, and fuji. the Fuji (Straight), and daytona especially hard to control.

GT5P also had the option but for some strange reason it didn't work for me, though in the opposite way. I wanted the intro but after a few updates where we got new temp intros they stopped working completely even with the option for intros "on" during start up.

Maybe not to those guys. He was just smiling for the camera. Give me that opportunity I wouldn't have spun out and smiled about it. I'd have to be pulled from that wheel and pedals, or I'd have to be asleep.

Hehe, pretty lame.
No day-night changes or pit-stops I guess.
Bright sunshine at 1.30am. I don't know why they bothered to make it a 24h challenge.

Was it ever promised that it was gonna be in it? You're the fool if you were expecting something that wasn't so much as even mentioned much less promised for this race.

Looking at the video, it's only lap 70 it looks like, from seeing the big screens. If you go by 8 minutes per lap average, 70 laps would come out to be 560 minutes. 560 minutes would be a bit over 9 hours.
