Also glad to hear they have the mirrors in mind. In prologue the rear view ALWAYS looked like this:

(p.s. Thats an F430 in the pic :P)

Nice drawing :)

Now that, is what I call proper tree's....Oh , and is that cloud about to drift over to the right and block out the sun? Dynamic weather?

The engine is not modeled on this GTR, so road cars will definately not loose their bonnets in a crash. I would like to see the Impreza Rally Car as a wireframe model, since the engine is modeled awell.

But nice find, really like it!

He's an SCEA Associate Producer, so he definitely knows about features in the full game.

Have you watched any of the videos with him in them? He doesn't know much nor should he be in any public position with sony. You would figure they would hire someone who can speak clearly and is easy to understand.

Can anyone please put the front page interview on youtube?

The player is weird, it doesn't buffer if it's on pause, and i can't watch due to bad internet...

On youtube we can let it buffer for minutes and then watch later...

As for 3-D, why are those televisions so special? Any television with a high refresh rate around 120 hz should be able to dislplay 3-D just fine. If the PS3 gets the firmware upgrade I dont see why you would need anything other then a 120hz+ television and 3-D glasses.

Those TVs don't accept input >60Hz. And you need something to sync the shutter glasses to the display.

I have, and although he may not be good at presenting facts on camera/under pressure, to suggest he doesn't know anything about the game he is working on is just absurd.

Don't keep your hopes up, this could only be for the demo

I wouldn't be so sure though. Because it shows that GT has considered this type of representation. And possibly cut down on loading (GT used car dealership, selecting each car to look at it) and also, since GT5P has exactly the same interface (events, online, gt tv, news, dealership) looks to be exactly how GT5 is setup, so it is most likely the open warehouse is going to be represented in the full game and PDs efforts on modeling this aspect won't be wasted.

Hahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahhahahaha

WHAAAA!!! I just realized they added 1:1 hand animation!!! Game will be super good.

Now i can also think that all my polls and posts about issue were not a waste :) (even if i had nothing to do with) This same kind of thing when i mailed steering wheel request for logitech and about year and half later they made g25 :)

I'm sorry but I struggle to follow you. Confirmation?

So excited if its true :)

I would like to see what it's like to play in monochrome wireframe. It looks cool. And it would be super smooth due to the ease of computation for the PS3, could add more cars and more detail, in high fps and resolution, with maximum anti-aliasing etc.

Oh god no..

I rather see full body cars whit less textures to have more cars. Besides if you say more detail, you wont see it in wire frames

I do have a couple of concerns, that I haven't seen upon the site yet...

1) Will you have to repair for your damages?

2) Will there be the ******* awful system of dealships, like in GTPSP? ie 4 dealers every 2 days with 12 cars tops for each manufacturer

I hope 2) will not be in, and I sorta want 1) to be in, to make everyone out there realise that shamshing a car up online with no consequences is a bad thing - trolls (sorry for the name) should pay, dearly... (end of rage rant)

I think the rotating dealerships was for GT PSP only and to make it more difficult to collect every car so trading become a more used feature to add to the party nature of the game. Traditionally in GT every dealership has been open from day 1 and you can visit any dealership at any time. Every car that can be bought is on sale from day 1 (though iirc the Tommy Kaira ZZII in GT4 is the exception to this rule) and the cars which cannot be bought must be won.

I just hope you're right :nervous:*shudders*:nervous:

This has probobly been answered or asked before, but are GT5P's physics making it into the initial 5th installment?

No.

A new physics model will, however. You can download the Time Trial demo to see the difference between the two.

I don't know if this is new, but with speedemon08 we discovered that the stickers on rally cars change depending on the track they are racing at. We've seen Rally Toscana, Rally Japan, but there's also a "Rally Tokyo R246" logo on the Focus, Impreza, and C4 WRC cars. It's interesting to note that the Impreza comes with "Rally Japan" graphics (on E3 Trailer) but has the "Rally Tokyo R246" in a batch of released screenshots. Have a look:

Pics to support my argument:

Impreza with "Rally Japan" sticker from E3 Trailer.

Focus WRC racing in Tokyo R246, notice the sticker on the hood.

Citroen C4 WRC head to head with the Impreza WRC. Notice a sticker very alike to the one of the Focus on the hood of both cars. The one in the C4 easily reads "Tokyo R246" with the track logo, the one in the Impreza reads "Rally" above of what should be the "Tokyo R246" bit. Also, notice that in the three cars the sticker is in a different place on the hood (Upper right in the Focus, Left in the C4, centerd in the Impreza).

Here's the track logo for you to compare.

What could this be? Cars have changed trough out the game dev process? Rally stickers change troughout the tracks? Can this stickers be part of a "Livery Editor"? Is this an old finding thats utterly irrelevant?
