EDIT: On a second look, the one in the back is the Maserati GranTurismo. You can tell this from the tail lights, which aren't the right shape to be the GS. And the body shape fits with the GT, better, as well.

EDIT2: I also think the purple car in the first pic is a Plymouth 'Cuda, not a Challenger.

Lupus in fabula.

Am I wrong or we've already seen scratches?

By the way in the E3/visual effects trailers skidmarks were missing, but we (you too I hope) have seen them recently. Combine everything and you'll have the final result.

The Lambo isn't scratched, it's reflecting the clouds. Scratches were my first thought though too, when I saw that trailer for the first time.

It's definitely a GranSport too. The tailight is "tall". You can see it trough the Audi TT windshield.
And the GranTurismo doesn't have that kind of slash behind the window.

Just think... we could all be playing GT5 in less than 10 days from now :(

haha ... i had one of those moments today. i was drinking milk and checked the date on the milk carton: November 1st.

I was thinking, "man, this milk would've been 1 day old on November 2nd."

lol... i need to stop thinking of this game already.

Uh? It's not the reflection of the clouds: the car is moving at high speed but the "grey part" is static and opaque during the sequence (I'm re-watching the E3 trailer in high definition right now)

There's even another scratch on the top and it's not moving either.

A gif would have been helpful but I can't find it.

Could that be the loading times of a non-installed GT5?
If so, I'll be happy to give 10GB of space to GT5.

Pretty sure its installed since the discs haven't been pressed yet. Just like all the demos at retail stores. But hopefully installing 10gb of the game to my hdd will decrease those times.

I re-watched it again in 720p on my TV and paused it as often as I could, you are right, it doesn't move BUT when the camera focus changes from the planes to the car, this white part does change, so it must be a reflection.
Alex 1-you 0.

It does change, the top part and bottom part of the "reflection" are further apart in the start. Probably a bug of some sort cause it does look pretty weird.

Are we watching the same trailer? Because I don't see any change during the entire sequence.

So you're saying these are moving?:dunce:.......

It IS moving, CASE CLOSET!

No seriously, it does change, when the camera moves from jets to car.

Edit: I gave it a thought. Let's assume the car is driving in a straight line and the clouds are like really far away, then they, as a reflection, should not really move, when the car only moved a few dozen meters.

I think it's a reflection as well. Looking at the right side of the panel you can see it's reflecting the sky and see a cloud at the top. There's one coming from the top of the headlight too wrapping around over the bonnet.

And when the camera "bounces" in the roll towards the end of the tilt / shot, the reflections move with it.

Still, there's no doubting the 458 has scratches... :dopey:

Yeah, you're right. Interesting that they're using two of them. But, like I said, they could be two different years or trims.
