That is pretty funny. I mean, Not only would it end up looking and probably playing like Forza, it'd be on at least 3 discs, if not more. Yeah. It really screams "fanboy BS"

Yeah, we already know what a Gran Turismo, under Microsofts control, would be like on the 360, so the whole article is just a pointless exercise in propaganda.

All signs point to a steady transition of their marketing from a pre-release to a real working / selling game. It feels like the ball is rolling for this one and unless the game hasn't gone gold, Sony must release to recoup investments. People will unlikely remember this years fanfare next Christmas...

Maybe somebody missed this.
I'm reposting it for this page (first and last time, I promise!)

The guy who participated in the filming of the new We love cars CM wrote a new blog entry for english speakers :)

http://namazr.blog53.fc2.com/blog-entry-251.html

He clarifies in english that he will write more about the CM soon, but also that he didn't originally mean or expect to show this information to the international community.

...Up scaled.

It's strange then that the graphics are BETTER on the 360. I used to own one but sold it due to alot of issues with it. However, all games I've played on both consoles(Resident Evil 5, GTA IV, Burnout Paradise) looked BETTER on the 360. No matter what anyone else says. Altough it was very little difference, but it wasn't worse.

This isn't the place for a fanboy war, that's your opinion, many people would beg to differ.

RE5 and GTAIV maybe bot no BP

BP look way better on ps3 and framerate is rocksolid 60FPS and work in higher res. And that is not an opinion it's from digital foundry

Fanboy? How can I be a fanboy when i own almost all consoles in history??? I said I sold the 360 cause it crashed and scratched my games all the time. And also, the graphics were better on it, it's nothing to argue about, it's simple facts.

I don't prefer any consoles, I play the games, not the consoles.

What are you on about? The Xbox 360 clearly has a 1080p upscale chip inside it, open up your 360 and look for yourself.

It doesn't. The ANA / HANA chip isn't an upscaler. It was all BS PR by Microsoft. But despite that, the 360 can STILL do native 1080p.

I believed you until you said Burnout Paradise... That game lead on PS3 and looks/runs better on PS3. Also, have you seen a game on 360 looking better then Uncharted 2 / Killzone 2 / GT5? The hardware is clearly better. I mean, it had to be, it released 1 year later.

Okay, first of all, Burnout Paradise looks exactly the same on both systems. Trust, me I've played it on both, there's not enough of a difference to make an argument over. Secondly, GTA IV looks better on the PS3, as well. The lighting is much better. Thirdly, you can't trust Gamespot AT ALL when it comes to PS3 vs 360. There was one of those where PS3 had the better graphics on a lot of them, but GS said the 360 was better essentially because they liked it better...which is BS. MS paid off GS for the longest time and GS is probably stil on MS's payroll.

PS3 can handle the complex lighting of games a LOT better than the 360. In GTAIV, when cops are chasing you at night, you get their lights reflecting off of everything, but not so much with the 360.

Fourthly, the 360's 1080p IS upscaled. Bungie themselves mentioned this when making Halo 3 when asked if the game would support full HD. They said, that the 360 isn't really capable of full HD, even with the HDMI, (either 'cause of the discs or processing power, I can't remember), so a lot of the games are made in SD or 720p then upscaled to 1080p. While this means that ANY game on the 360 can support 1080p, it's not as nice as true HD which is what Sony's Blu-ray technology was made for.

I honestly couldn't care less about the Xbox being able to play games in 1080p - especially in a topic with the title "GT5 Latest News and General Discussion" 👎

It's not 'fact' at all, it's your opinion. This is why you are sounding like a fanboy. But anyway, like I said, this isn't the place.

I don't know anything about Gamespot, I'am just going on my own experience after owning both consoles....

I had Resident Evil 5 for 360, it could be played in 1080p. I did that. Now I have Resident Evil 5 for PS3, it only works in 720p. It only says 720p on the back of the box. So I don't understand what people are talking about realy, maybe it's different on different regions? I don't know.

And I don't understand what anything of this has to do with fanboism, it's such a missused word, mostly by underaged kids.
Like I said, I play the good games, not the consoles.
