Is it just me or has this thread gone downhill
in the last few days?

I can't work out if it's serious conversation or just a push to get to 2000 pages, which has no real significance.

Either way, a lot of good regular posters have definately kept away from posting in this thread recently.

Mate.. as i said before its part and parcel of this forum, people get bored so start talking how forza or xbox is bull blablabla. The date for date of release is soon. (unless Sony delay)👎 agree with last comment

I'm not aiming to push to 2000 pages quickly as it indeed has no significance whatsoever although by writing this right now I'm aware I do contribute to reaching that somehow mythical amount of pages, to be honest the sooner that gets out of the 'collective' system the better.......year 2000 all over again, nothing changes at all.

It's easy to like something when it pays your production costs... You know they have refrained from giving F12010 a proper review until patches have been released.. Wonder why that one is 💡

Carefull, they get all angry when someone insinuates things like that !! I know from first hand experience !!

Just had another confirmation from a inside Sony source saying that the delay was because they wanted GT5 to support 3.50 firmware.

And they said they have been told the game will arrive on the 21st/22nd of November.

I don't recall seeing this screenshot, but it confirms photo mode effects I guess, and race numbers, and suit customisation

People need to stop with this, I could easily say "I just called Kaz, he said the game is coming out tomorrow" and it would be just as viable. :indiff:

I heard at Gamestop, that tomorrow will be the day they will tell us the day that they will tell us the release date.

@CoolColJ I think we will get to choose a number that will stick with us.

Photo mode looks sooo good. Biggest problem with photography is a decent location and TBH something interesting to photograph.

Now it's going to be great fun.

Alright, just a quick bit about the 360 and 1080P. Only Blu-Ray has a native or natural 1080P, not DVD. DVD can be UPSCALED, and that's what DVD-ROM based games on the 360 are essentially. UPSCALED. That's all. Blu-Ray was purposely made to support native 1080P, and when you see games on PS3 that aren't 1080P, that's because they are multi-platform. And if otherwise stated are based off of their DVD-ROM counterpart. DVD to Blu-Ray is not hard. But it's not going to make the game 1080P. Unless the game is BD-ROM (Blu-Ray). The 360 has no games that are in true 1080P HD, they are all upscaled through the 360 to produce an image that's 1080P.

You're talking about video while everybody else seems to be discussing games.

Although both consoles do upscale for very good reasons, they just aren't powerful enough to handle full speed 1080p real time graphics in all games.
In all honesty though, these sorts of numbers shouldn't be of any concern to people who enjoy games. A native 1080p game isn't necessarily better and can often look worse than a native 720p due to the strain on the console hardware.

Anyway, back to what ever the hell the latest non GT5 topic is that's really ruining this thread at the moment.

The guy who participated in the filming of the new We love cars CM wrote a new blog entry for english speakers :)

http://namazr.blog53.fc2.com/blog-entry-251.html

He clarifies in english that he will write more about the CM soon, but also that he didn't originally mean or expect to show this information to the international community.

^ Wow they will likely to replicate the shot as much as they can without the slide. ;)

LAST PIC-> I wouldn'y mind putting those stickers on my car. And I like that wingless DTM Mercedes! :sly:

This thread is not making sense right now, with useless comparison discussions.

Like placeholder dates.

Aren't there invisible walls?

Yes there are and I was curious if the walls are kept just outside of the airstrip lines. That is my guess, hopefully they are not on the outside of the curve stripes inside the runway, if so that would suck.

I've seen videos where drivers get lost and actually go through the middle of the runway, so it's plausible that it's just beyond the grass.
