@Maximum Hoonage: I think mitsifumi-san will have to wait for his hearty erection

Completely off topic, but that site that made "the first review of GT5" says this nowadays "3xG This website has been closed and is out of operation." Hehe, just a fun little fact..

a bit off topic but anyway. What do you all think is the best racing game currently on the market for ps3? (apart from GT5 because thats not out yet)

Im a fan of codemasters, so any of their games should be fun. Grid, Dirt 2, F1.
Other than F1 the games should be pretty cheap since they are older.

Heh, I know, but it still makes me laugh.

Funny enough, no other site (that I know of) has mentioned this in June and I sure as hell don't remember Kaz or Sony confirming it so I'm not sure I can trust that article.

This article confirms that it was at one time slated for move, but Sony's most current Move page no longer mentions GT5. I apologize for any errors.

Any word on why Targets and Walmarts and Toys r Us' around the USA are saying 11/2 and This Tuesday on this weekends newspapers?

Now its really going to be very frustrating. Saying it won´t be out on nov 2d only 20 days before release without talking about any serious reason, only a little promise, that it´ll be out before christmas and than.

silence.........................................

Hope we don´t even hear from PD/Sony in january, saying, oh sorry fans, yes we know, we sorry, we what ever, but......, here u got some screens and a new trailer again. Game´s out in may. Maybe.

But i´m still hoping to drive around nurburgring under the x-tree. So hope for SEMA

Like I said, hes not even close to the caliber of Kimi but Kimi is doing much worse, meaning Ken Block of California is doing better than an F1 World Champion.

Compliment? Yes.

Not to mention hes a good decade older than Kimi and most WRC drivers and he was basically a skateboarder\fashion designer prior to his relatively late entry to motorsport.

So all those factors are also a testament to his skill.

All due respect , Ken Block was a rally driver before WRC. Raikkonen was an F1 Driver.

How can you say Ken is doing better than Kimi when he has to retire from practically all his races? Doesnt make sense..
I do like the guy though, and glad he makes an appearance in the WRC now and then. Hopefully next year he can do a full schedule.

Technically (Block 23rd, kimi 10th) Block is lower int he standings, but he only participated in every other rally (7\13) is much older with much less experience and accomplishments, and its his first year in WRC, so in that respect he is doing ok.

Funny fact though, Rally Veteran Juha Kankkunen only participated in one rally, Neste Rally Finland yet has more points than Block.

Sunday night..still no date. Its Monday in Japan now.still no date.I have an exam tomorrow, still no date.I thought I'd know the date before I write.Sucks I wont.I bet I'll wake up in the morning and check for a date..Im trying to be optimistic..but I bet I wont find a date.

I went in to my local gamestation to cancel my SE pre-order today (I've had second thoughts). I spoke to a guy there and he says Sony are now saying 01/12/10 for the UK.

He also told me how Sony reps had come to town in a big truck with a load of GT5 pods inside. He got to race in 3D but they wouldn't let him turn pro physics on. I guess this was for retailers only, I asked him what build the demo was but he didn't know. All he said was that it was around the same time as the Move launch.

Not big news but thought I'd post in case anyone was interested.

Anyone who wants to make some money pre-order GT5 from shopto.net, they say this = "If you pre-order Gran Turismo 5 before 12pm on Wednesday 1st of December 2010 we will guarantee that you will receive it by the release date of Friday 3rd of December 2010, if you do not receive it we will compensate you with £3.00 on your shopto account."

Now if Sony don't release it before that date, they are gonna be PISSED at Sony.

They also said that when I pre ordered it for the 5th, which I doubt they'll be paying me.

This is great news, hopefully we will see some GT5 demos in the UK.

I still believe in Andrew House's words. He said one of his interviews "GT 5 will DEFINETALY launch before Christmas".

I do not think he said that words giving people who waits for game for meaningless hopes

Why would it be a trash topic ? If we set it up decently we could get thousands of signings.Just spread it to some major forums. This thread is currently viewed by 297 people. I think at least 200 people will sign it...
If enough people sign it , and we spread it well by sending it to many big forums and/or send it to some big media like IGN etc. then they will pick it up them selves. Spread it on their PD forum , Playstation forum etc.

I would do it if I where better at english. It's not my main language so...
Maybe it would look "un-serious" then.

You need over 100 posts to post a topic in the GT5 section. IMO it's a bad idea and will be nothing more than another rage topic.

I'm sure Sony and PD are working to get the game out and a few people who post in a thread to say they would like the game as soon as possible is unlikely to help the game be released.

A flaming bag of dog crap on SCEA door is a much more effective solution IMO ;)

Haha yeah.. except it might give Kaz even more ideas for the game... and then he delays it again..
