The game is not hyped now, not everyone reads news articles. Majority of people who buy it will be swayed by advertising imo.

Right. I have a friend who always loved the Gran Turismo games. But if I hadn't told him about the situation he wouldn't know at all whats going on cause he doesn't look around on the internet for news.

I hope everyone learned their lesson this time though. Posts and photos can't be trusted as proof, only videos can. No video evidence = Fake. I need to see the 10gb install screen for the whole duration before I believe in some random dude on the web.

oh lord.. i dont even want to think about how long that will take to install..
MGS4 was like 3ish GB and it took more than 15 minutes.. :ill:

GT4 didn't get mass hyped until the week leading up to the release. Just wait until the Launch Party in Madrid. From there up until the game's release, there will be a plethora of information. I'm sure the Track and full car list will be unveiled a couple days before like GTPSP.

16 more days till the launch party... that is if the dates even true. God I really hope it is...

Were the biggest install supposed to be 10gb? Cause I have a little over 20gb so then Iam secured. Just deleted alot of demos I had. Some took almost 2gb.

But if it were going to be released soon, they should have tv adds and on PSN. There is nothing there! At least not here, in Sweden/Europe.

There is massive hyp all across the internet, their are intervies and articles in the Telegraph, Esquire magazine, Top Gear magazine, Evo magazine.

It won't be long.

Falango asked me for my source.

Well my source is GT Planet news section and forum.

Just too much is missing, not PD's style, or just stupid..

Only these things should already be enough proof:

The description on the cover is childish
Stupid info, which is not precise at all
The font on the back just doesn't fit PD
There's no DUALSHOCK3 vibration function icon on the back
The BCES number on the disc belongs to an other game
The member who came up with this nonsense just disappeared.

Any more proof some people have found?

You know, I think we can browse through Jeseus's PSN friend's list through the Playstation website. Maybe we can check through his friend's list to see if anyone has GT5 in their trophy list or matches the PSN account that Jeseus took a pic of? I can't check now cause I'm typing from my PS3's browser. Can someone check?

Enough of the slow chat and useless posts. Keep posting them and I'll keep deleting them, with the odd infraction if required. Be careful.

I'm happy it's a fake. I mean, GT5 will DEFINATELY have more than "20 locations", from the recent interviews and stuff. Also, honestly, I think the rear cover will look a LOT better, but that may just be my opinion.

I'm not going to post much more until some new info comes out. This thread is getting a bit crazy - but I will be watching :)

Lets hope for some real news soon

I think the only big hit of information (other than a release date) will be in Madrid. It will be the only source we can trust 100%.

Next weekends F1 finale would be prime time for a gt5 tv ad campaign to start.

I think that might be a better place to get some Black Friday sales for F1 2010. Does the BBC even have commercials during their coverage though? That's where I watch and I can't remember if they do or they don't. Though I'd love to see some new GT ads, anywhere on TV.

Could mean the "Global" locations.

BBC channels have no commercials.
