seriously. I'm done speculating. I'm done fishing for every minor detail I can find. The only thing I want to do now is play it. And knowing exactly when would make the next few weeks that much more bearable.

During all the hoopla over the past 24/48 hours or so, i decided to give my new ForceGT a blast! I really wanted to save it for when GT5 lands, but Prologue was staring at me and thus i buckled 8(. I know the physics engine is different but i'm really pleased with the wheel itself! Very robust indeed. I don't drive in real life so have always stuck to the trusty old joypad, and consider myself very quick with it (if the TT demo is anything to go by), so i'm using this opportunity to learn to drive using the wheel! Manual gears and all aids off etc etc. So far.....LOVING IT!! I just wish the TT demo was still active 8(.

EDIT: Oh and even if that guy is lying, i have another friend who i actualy know and he will be picking it up at around 6-7 pm. So if that first guy turns out to be the same as CZ, we will have DEFINITIVE confirmation around that time

Claiming to have GT5 and not offering proof immediately, when they first make the claim, is a pretty clear sign to me that it's another fake. Lets just ignore these special people with a deep need for attention until they prove it.
Random guy on the internet saying today will be the release date is also not a reason to expect the release date, these things spiral right out of control in this thread and next thing you know people are staying up late waiting for it and repeatedly posting how disappointed they are when it doesn't happen.

If I was one of these guys who claim to have it, before telling everybody, I'd upload a load of images, post them then go play. All this hype around another guy is annoying.

There won't be any proof provided as he's almost certainly not got it, so I'd save yourself another wasted evening like last night.
I'm sure there must be the odd person out there who does have it, but I'd bet none of them even have any interest in posting proof. People who do this on forums are almost always attention seeking.
I don't think screen shots will really prove anything. We know the game is close to, or has been shipped. Either way it's not going to make much difference to when it's released, so whether or not someone has it is of little consequence.

Im a 1st time poster on here, from the UK. Ive been reading all this for months now, as an avid old GT player from 1998 would be expected to do. Played em all, and cant wait for the next installment. Now, I may be on my own here (hopefully not), but i actually think the recently released pics of the game and box are legit. Totally legit, and the people who cry "fake" from the rooftops need to just relax and accept that there are people out there who have probably managed to get hold of a copy!! Simple as that. They have been in gold status for over a week now and these things happen, you all know this! So sit back, relax, and wait for the greatest game ever to be released to drop through your doors/hit the shops. Enjoy, and i look forward to seeing all your names (in my rear view mirror) online.

I have been fallowing this thread sence what seams to be forever and still nothing new on a release date. I also have found some apps for my 4g touch to give me the latest updates. I imagine this is the most antisapated game of all time. Hope we don't have to wail much longer.

I agree with you in believing these pictured discs are real. Infact I am quite sure there is a coupe copies out there that at least of what I know of, but the same time some are attempting to ride the wave with lies and deceit.
