I wouldn't all that thrilled for the future of GT if the PS3 was powerful enough for Kaz's vision for Gran Turismo.

Kotaku Australia deserves a lot of credit for that piece. You have Kaz just trying to say that you always have to build a game within the confines of hardware, which isn't in any way meant to be a negative comment on the PS3, and yet some game sites run with the story like he did mean it to be negative.

That's how news outlets work. Its not a story unless its "blown out of context." And words are put into peoples mouths. I hate journalists. Professional stretchers of the truth if you ask me.

Exactly, and back at TGS Kaz mentioneds that he already had ideas for GT6 that didn't make it into GT5. Of course some game sites jumped on that like it was a bad thing. I'd be nervous about the series if he'd already ran out of ideas for it. But the fact that he still has many improvements and additions that he wants to make is a very good thing in my eyes.
 
Are we expecting an announcement this week then? Surely if they are shooting for a late november / early december release, they cant leave it much longer...
 
The head tracking realy interests me, i suppose with the head tracking will be super sensitive like the SIXAXIS was, and i suppose alot of syncing and re-syncing will be order no?

CVG is one of the gaming sites I read regularly but they went way down in my estimations when they ran that out of context story. Fake reviews, previews veiled as full reviews and tabloid style articles like this all hurt the industry as a whole but specifically do a lot of damage to the reputation of the guilty sites.

If PS3 will be powerful enough we will getting 3D trees, 3D crowd, real car reflections including other car's beams at night, and only God knows what else and it's all in Full HD resolution @ STABLE 60fps with 3D.
PS3 is very old by today terms and PD IS a company that can easily do much more if they not were restricted by hardware.

It's starting to get really annoying loading up the news page every day and not seeing a release date knowing I was supposed to be playing it NOW. I've been patient up to this point but I'm nearing my wit's end. Why are they torturing us?

Cause, the head person who decides to give us the date is a female!
 
That guy who bougt GT5 from Aukro.cz yesterday just pikced it up and he said that it is real! When (if) he posts some pictures/videos, i will let you guys know.

EDIT: He said he will arrive home in 2 hours

Is there anything there we don't already know? Cause I suppose they havent played the game more then us?

But at least it's more serious to do a preciew than a review, that a certain website did(wich now is gone, thankfully).

Was not to bad actually. As good as Preview as I have seen.
