I don't know what people were complaining about, but it sure looks great to me. Can't wait to buy my first car in the game and take it for a spin around the Ring. Looks like a blast. :dopey:đź‘Ť

It's look great also to me!!but I noticed that IA looks suck again.the driver make 5-6 surpass less 6-7corners:guilty:it seem too easy for me,I hope that PD can fixed........

I noticed something from that new video, will there be adjustable grids? i went from 8 cars at nurburgring, now its at 12, so im pretty sure it will top out at 16 car grids, who knows, maybe even bigger then that. puts me at ease knowing there will be more then 8 cars on the track,

I don't see a trend. Could you please explain for us old farts. Thanks.

The trend is that GT6 will probably take about 4 years to make (though it COULD be less). Why so long? Look at the time gap between GT3 and GT4: It was 3 years and 8 months and that was on last generation hardware. Now, if we're speaking of GT6 on another system, say PS4, 5 years might be the bare minimum. The bare minimum. Unless, of course, they can transfer over the codes/data.

In conclusion, spit out games a bit faster.

Sorry if posted but updated sales for GT PSP and GT5:P, GT:PSP at 1.8 million and GT5:P is at 4.6 million. Posting it really for perspective, looking at those sales people should really not be shocked at GT5 releasing at the end of the year.

It's a damn important franchise for Sony.

PS I love sales age, it's a problem I have sadly.

Thanks for the heads up, shows GT5:P is still selling fairly well considering it's size and age and GT PSP is doing ok.

The driver was being a bit pushy in passing the cars. So you can't really get an idea how the AI really is that way.

Very nice... but... :ouch:
:ill: 2D trees ftw!!! Yeah! that's why GT5 has been pushed :sly:

Would people please zip it about the trees!? Damn.

Guys there si no discussion!!gtp had 16cars in race and I'm pretty sure that will have it in GT5 too!

It's been said that GT6 won't take nearly as long. Maybe less than 100 new cars to model, some new tracks, and some new features. It's not going to be complete remade

Gt4 was delayed to pull online, among other things...I for one think we should have waited then. In fact, if GT4 had had online, the entire GT community would be a lot more evolved... assuming the online worked well enough to be provide quality racing. Most of us would still be active with it.

GT5 will bring us full online and 1000 cars... if you can't occupy yourself with that, then what does it take? A good quality game will last us a long time, which is why it's worth the wait.

A few months, even a year of patience on the front end of a game can lead to years more playability.

Full race from the Aussie GT Academy finals on Indy road course
The spectator mode from 3:25 min onwards is sweet!

Replays scenes better than prologue. There is no blurring in the background. its a good sign for me.it seems 60fps replay views.

when the blue car overtakes to go first there is a blue notification on the left hand side of the screen saying how the positions in the race changes I like this feature

Yeah, that looks like a live feed of the positions changing, which is a cool feature! đź‘Ť
Many thanks to Carbonfibre for uploading both vids and sharing with all of us hungry GT fans!

Check 7:30. you can see in the top right of screen the time change from 4.42 to 4.43.

Is that time of day for the game, or system time on your ps3?

Well from 4:09 in the video it changed to 4.39 and then at about 5:07-5:09 in the video the time changed to 4.40. So this tells me it is either the Ps3's time settings or it is in fact a part of GT5 and it uses real time. Also I think its a good thing it shows the weather and temperature. :D
However I do find it strange that it can look like broad daylight at 4.40 in the morning.

EDIT: I've never seen any game showing the ps3's time setting so as for my opinion I do think it is part of GT5. God imagine Le mans 24 hours (if included) actually staying up to do the whole thing. I do have a feeling they will have the option of shortening it to 2, 4, 12 hours and so on.

If you check the pictures taken from the AU Event (4:29 and another 4:34) it has a small "pm" just after the time.

HMV new GT5 date is 10th december 2010.
Amazon america has changed to 1st november 2010.

So the American's get GT5 before the Europeans. Well, it happened with GT PSP, so who knows. I'm just gonna wait till sony announces the release date instead.

I hope so. I can imagine it being done in 2.5-3. years, Which is good.

I hope to hell if they do that PD have the foresight to go peer to peer with the spectator netcode. If they use the host model then there will be a bandwidth cap on the number of spectators. If they go p2p then unlimited specs could be possible and that has exciting implications.

Am I the only one who thinks the trees look good, unless I'm missing something?

I was thinking more about people joining the lobby to race rather than broadcasting it to anyone with GT5 in the drive.
