Wowwwww guys,it look that the 3Dtrees WILL MAKE THIS GAME SOO PERFECT!!!!!!!!come on guys, let us discussing other argument more critical for the game, like IA,fisic,damage,day/night cicle......in that video the thing that concern me isn't the 2dtrees or 3dtrees but the IA that continue to be like in gtp!!

I'm sorry, but I've just been laughing non stop just reading the past like 5 pages. How can people complain about TREES?! Seriously, a RACING game, and people care for TREES? I've lost my hope in humanity xD

Trees??? Really??? When I play GT, I don't think "wow, nice trees", I think, "MUST... BEAT... PREVIOUS LAP TIME!".

I can see it now - Pd will do the smart thing and pay for a speedtree license then someone will notice the leaves don't blow off when it's windy and the whole thing will kick off again. :D

If people complain about the trees, you people go with the "it's a racing game" argument. If we complain about reverse lights, you go with the "we will never see them" argument. How convenient.

At the end of the day, the game can't be criticized for little (but important in the case of reverse lights) details, but it can be praised for them.

About the reverse lights, am I right that Forza 3 has not even braking lights?
I'm sorry if I'm wrong but i only played it for about half an hour and the first thing I noticed was, that there are no braking lights ...but I've only driven the Bugatti Veyron :P

You're wrong, it does have braking AND reverse lights....but the game doesn't have movable spoilers.

What does it matter, anyway? I won't be seeing it when I'm driving.

Between movable spoilers and reverse lights, I will stick to the lights. Most cars have them.

Alright thanks, was just curious ...would be pretty poor if it were so :P
Does GT5 has movable spoilers? Would be cool with the new Veyron :D

Nice, sounds all great to me, if it weren't for the long wait >.<
I'm almost at the point where I would pay for information

I respect your opinion but that doesnt make sense.
You would see the movable spoilers more than reverse lights, everytime you drive behind a car with one.

So in the end, I would see reverse lights. Besides, it all depends on what use will someone give to a car. Whenever I'm bored in GT4, I will go to the Test Course and start doing donuts, going in reverse or things like that.

Conflicts like this one sound stupid just because people don't want to admit that reverse lights are important, and they will use any kind of argument to underrate them. And what's more, it seems like people are proud of not having reverse lights, just like the comment above mine. I'm not saying it's your particular case, I'm sorry if it looks like that because I'm replying to your post.

Sure, Forza 3 may be a "cheap" hooker, but you guys don't even have a wife yet. And if you do, I guess we will have to see in which summer will she decide to come back home. And I don't know you guys, but I found particulary funny the way hardvibes counteracted Forza 3's reverse lights with lack of movable spoilers.

Funny? I was pretty serious though...
I don't need to explain anything, G.T.Ace already did.

Perhaps Turn10 will add movable spoilers with a new patch? Like they did with the shift animations.
What about all the bugs reported, and still unpatched, on fm3 forum? It's a long list by the way.
Yeah sure release a game every 2 years, but you're responsible for the consequences, not me ;).
Oh and what about the lack of compatibility with the most common (and good) wheels on the market?

Sure it's a good game but it's not "definitive", at all.

p.s. I don't think we need to go through another "game war", do we? You're the one bringing up all the stuff that is quitely lying in my signature and in one of my comments.

...you're way out of line to simply decide for everyone that it doesn't matter. Your premium badge may earn you certain things, but not the right to decide what does and doesn't matter to the rest of us.

Slow down there newb. My premium badge may not mean much, but I have been here much longer than you, and that means something. I'm not deciding jack crap for anybody. There are people on here that are taking this tree thing way too far. It's a freaking racing game for crying out loud. The quote below sums it up very nicely. You guys can stop on the track and complain about the trees while I have fun driving the cars. The tree huggers need to get over it.

These arguments are like racing on a oval, round and round with no end in sight. Personally I don't care about reverse lights or the trees. PD has more important things to spend time on, like the actual racing.

Just a thought, in the recent video containing a complete lap of the Nur in the SLS, don't you think the lap time was way too fast for the way the guy was driving? Wouldn't that make the physics of the game questionable?

You can tell he's running Standard physics. He went off the track several times and it didn't even phase him. Pro physics would be very different.
