It is getting more and more frustrating to live in a country, where shops are obliged to uphold the rules and laws :( I want GT5 now aswell ....

Can anyone tell me who has the game how large the Formula 1 part of the game is, for example is there Grand Prix or Season modes because I am wondering either to buy F1 2010 for my XBOX or Gran Turismo for my PS3.

Dirt 3 video? In the GT5 news thread. Not on my watch.

Locking for cleanup

Now lets try and keep to the topic. Again. Please.

I have to work for the first 5 days GT is out. Does anyone know how to get an illness serious enough to get atleast 3 days off, a doctors certificate, and still let me be well enough to play GT5? I was thinking of self inflicted injury, but need all my limbs for the wheel, so thats a no go. A migrane was a good option because there arnt any visable signs for a doctor to call BS, but that will only get me one day max. Any ideas?

Food poisoning? Rather than being sick yourself you need to care for someone in your family who is sick. Stress.. That's all I can think up for now.

Then explain the report you just sent to all the staff.

I suspect the excitement of GT5 is getting to you. I suggest you take a couple of days off posting.

The people with GT5 early have mentioned levels, does anyone know how many levels total that there are? Also will we unlock cars when we reach certain levels?

As far as I know there are 40 levels in total - 40 for A-Spec and 40 for B-Spec.

You can only start events, buy cars (used and new), unlock licences after certain you have a certain driver level.
For example you can't buy the F1 car before level 20 or so. And you can't start the S-license before level 15 or 20 or so. Someone correct me if I'm wrong :)

haha your boss can't prove that you don't have crippling diarrhea.

Yeah I could use that, but I work in TV and its getting close to Christmas so the work load is up, and staff down. I really need a docs certificate. Im honestly thinking of chowing down on some green chicken. Cheers and bon-appetite! :yuck:

I want to know that too.

Actually anything on levels would be good. All I know is you increase level with exp. from racing and license tests, and unlock cars etc. with higher levels. And does it take longer from one level to the next (example: lv 1>2 takes 100 exp, the lv 2>3 takes 150 exp. I would expect it to as all RPG's use that set-up)

Hey what does that have to do with GT5?

Oh, for god's sake, do you not realize that as a moderator daan can talk about...uh...'moderating matters' in threads at any time when he needs to?

*Sigh* I guess this could be an example of mini-modding???

It is so good to hear a blow off valve again in GT. That G37 in hood cam sounds GREAT.
Alright its official, im excited. I never get excited about anything till just before it happens, and that noise got me excited. Bring on the 25th.

And I was being serious. Your doctor isn't going to make you prove it either. Tell them you have the squirts and keep having to run to the bathroom. He will give you a doctors excuse, which you can give to your boss as the excuse that you will be useless at work for a few days. Or mix up some pink slimfast in thermos and stick some ground beef in there, then dump it out beside your car when you get to work....then crouch there looking sick until coworkers see you...at which point you have witnesses that you don't need to be at work. I'm scandalous, but it works.

Edit: I fully believe this is GT5 related in the most important way. I'm trying to help a fellow racer get his race on.
