The Bugatti Veyron has 1001 HP in real life so why does it only have 955HP in the game?

No it has 1001PS in real life, metric HP, Old style HP is less than 1001.
The correct conversion is 987HP from 1001PS. 955HP is a bit down on power, might need an overhaul!
The PSP figure is correct.

HOW long is the day night transition.I mean if you start at day how long before the game puts you in night transition.

Depends on how many laps you run. 2 laps, the transition will start in the 2 laps.
99 laps, the transition will start in between 99 laps. And so on..

I'm more and more convinced that GT5 won't have 16 AI-cars in offline-races:tdown:all the video's that we have already seen confirm this!however,I don't care so much about off-line mode because I will pass all my time playing online mode,but it's a worried step back by PD!

I never trust manafacturers figures anyway, especially ferrari's.

I think the "TOTAL ANARCHY IN CITY STREETS" headline would overshadow that one. News of overturned Nissans being hurled through electronics store windows, roads becoming an obstacle course of despondent suicidals and belligerent hooners... The details of the cause of such mayhem would be buried somewhere on page 5 or 6.

And to think all those people who have scored copies, could have jumped a plane to the us and made bank. Pick up 20 copies or so, I'd of payed top dollar.

It is hapening to quickly, thats the whole point, otherwise you would have to race for about an hour just to see the transition, not very sensible.

Yes, and if you don't want it to happen (when running 2-3 laps), you drive the version of the track without time change.

you can choose between Hard / Int / Soft tires. You cannot as far as I can see set the width or pressure.... yet... (lvl14)

I have to work for the first 5 days GT is out. Does anyone know how to get an illness serious enough to get atleast 3 days off, a doctors certificate, and still let me be well enough to play GT5? I was thinking of self inflicted injury, but need all my limbs for the wheel, so thats a no go. A migrane was a good option because there arnt any visable signs for a doctor to call BS, but that will only get me one day max. Any ideas?

My migraine's last at least two, maybe three days, and I often don't feel well enough to go back that week, so one of them should be fine.

Just heard an interesting rumour and im sorry if this is old news.

As you know those who are playing GT5 are saying there is no access to the online content. Well i've been told this is because it isn't on the disc and the online features of GT5 will have to be downloaded. This is rumoured to be 9GB!

Apparently the reason for this is the online aspect of GT5 was removed and only those who are running FW 3.50 can access this online content.

Not even Sony would be stupid enough to make their customers download a 9 GB big file just to access GT5's online features
I still think that all features will be unlocked on wednesday. (and I'm glad that from that day on we probably won't hear such rumors for a long time )

As in changing individual gear ratios and final
drive? I would sure hope thats in the game. Im more interested in contact patch and tire grip. A set of 17 inch wheels with a 245 tire running at 28 psi and a 19 inch wheel with a 305 size tire running at 50 psi should act quite different from each other. All of the other things you can change are great but not bein able to tweak this aspect of your car would make no sense. Why be able to change camber but not tire pressure
