B-Spec BoB reached lvl 4 while I was cleaning up. He seems sleepy now, little "downward-pointing-arrow" besides his helmet.

Taking over now, trying to tackle the final cup in the pro series. 6 tracks, all pretty long, hard competition (Zondas, Saleens, ...)
 
Well my copy is on order from amazon with release date delivery, but can anyone reassure me that it will almost certainly get here on the release date? If it doesn't, I'm afraid UPS doesn't roll on Thanksgiving, which means I'd have to wait till friday or monday to get my game. Just looking for a little comfort if anyone has experience with this.

So wait, been on GTA for a while, the more Im on here, the longer the wait for GT5 is. I mean, if this was a normal Sunday, I would be going to sleep, for school tommorow.

Anyway, as I've said. Been off GTP for a while, is Curtis like causing trouble and sorts?
 
My local Gmaestaion has 2 Signiture Edition boxsets out and the briefcase on display. They are also having a Midnight launch and I think they said that someone who is in the queue will get a Signiture Edition either for free or for the price of the standard edition.

And I was being serious. Your doctor isn't going to make you prove it either. Tell them you have the squirts and keep having to run to the bathroom. He will give you a doctors excuse, which you can give to your boss as the excuse that you will be useless at work for a few days. Or mix up some pink slimfast in thermos and stick some ground beef in there, then dump it out beside your car when you get to work....then crouch there looking sick until coworkers see you...at which point you have witnesses that you don't need to be at work. I'm scandalous, but it works.

Edit: I fully believe this is GT5 related in the most important way. I'm trying to help a fellow racer get his race on.

Dude that sounds bullet proof! Ive got a few good ideas now, and should get the time off. I took time off for the last release date so im super annoyed how the roster worked out this time round.

(BTW I was thinking genital friction burns. Have to stay pantless for a few days and you cant go to work pantless.)

I heard the coursemaker options are pretty limited, but for me, the fact that it's there at all is a definite plus. My one desire is to be able to make a course with some sweet turns that also have pavement outside of the track like Fuji Speedway so I can practice drifts without sliding two miles into the dirt when I screw up. Sure hope you can do that.

I assume they would be pretty small files. I don't think it takes a "snapshot" of your course and saves all the graphics. I'm 99% sure it's just the choice of scenery, the parameters (number and type of turns/straights and where they should be on the map) and the name that must be saved in order to generate your custom track.
 
Can anyone who's lucky enough to have the game, confirm fog effects on some tracks (I think it was shown on Eiger in previews)?

An image of this also would be nice to see....
 
I do hope that the online component of this game is significantly improved over Prologue - I found prologue online cars disappearing , teleporting - not pleasant.

I am a very long time player of GT, since the first game came out and am looking forward to some online GT action.

I have a very fast connection so it was not my broadband. Anyone else have this problem with Prologue ?

Apart from the fact of how would you feel trying too get a doctors note for that??
 


I'm more and more convinced that GT5 won't have 16 AI-cars in offline-races:tdown:all the video's that we have already seen confirm this!however,I don't care so much about off-line mode because I will pass all my time playing online mode,but it's a worried step back by PD!
 
I also have a Driving Force GT....love it...the pedals compared to the G25 or G27...there's a definite difference in feel, plus no clutch but at least for me, the pedals are still pretty good IMO.

Finished the Gran Turismo World Championchip. Final Cup of the Pro League and what comes after that ? The Ending Credits ... which I definitly won't spoil.
Price car was the Veyron 16.4. Took a practise run on SS7 and got to 386 km/h.

PRETTY MUCH

The Veyron 16.4 is a standard car. No cockpit :(
BUT it can be tuned. No tuning stage or turbo. New exhaust alone will boost it from 955 to 1058 hp. And there are more parts fittable then just that.

What is there to love ?

Super Stage 7, Veyron going 200 at start, and when you reach 300 the fireworks near the track started. Background Music switching ... Chemical Brothers new Album, hitting 350. The song really kicking in. The bass of the song hitting hard. And the Veyron hits the tunnel. Not GT4 but really good motor echo in the tunnel, going 380. The song hitting it's apex as well as the Veyron nearing it's top speed. BAM ... That's something to love right there, the massive feeling of a epic moment in video game history.
You will LOVE it (strange tho the on default setting - Music 100% Sound Effect 100% - the music is much to quiet, turned the Sound Effects down to 30% and now the music and motor sound are pretty equal, on default setting you only hear the car really loud and nothing of the BGM)

it is not very surprising i mean it have 4 turboes to start with
 
something that i noticed when i play Prologue with dualshock i still use the X button to accelerate. Thats how i would play back in the days. Then these new racing games came out for ps3 and gave you option to use R2 button as accelerator so i got use to playing like that with NFP(R2 as gas button), then played Prologue and R2 gas button just doesnt work for me

maybe in the early stages you have to drive the beginner events, Less drivers, less laps,...
