Has anyone seen this yet?It says it has strategies for each track and tuning tips for each track. It's not bad for $10.19+S&H.Is this the only guide coming out?I was expecting something more comprehensive than just tracks like car info etc.I hope another guide is coming out along with this one.

i got it last night at best buy. i too was expecting more, it basically goes over each track and shows the optimum line and recommends what type of car would do best on that track. it also explains on car set up and terms etc. overall and OK guide for $15 ($10 after my reward zone certificate) but I needed something to tide me over til wednesday :)

Do you know when they got those in because I went to Best Buy on Saturday just to see if they had it and it wasn't there.

I've only had time to try one B-spec race, and I could not find any option to speed up time like you could in GT4, does anyone have any knowledge of such a feature?

i think there is, i heard about that option that you have to set the pace. how faster the pace how more mistakes de B-spec driver makes. how much depends on the level of your B-spec driver and his physcal strenght and stamina. or some sort. don't know how tough.

How exactly does the paint shop work?

For example, when you earn a paint color, if you use it to paint a car, do you lose it, and have to earn it again?

Also, if you paint a car a different color, do you get the color that the car was originally painted as a paint item?

1st question's answer: Yes!
2nd question's answer: You already have -as an item to use- the color of the car you have since you won/bought this car.

Ah, probably didn't make myself clear, what i meant was speeding up the simulation speed (1X, 2X etc.) so you don't have to watch the race in realtime. As for the driver, you can give him three different directions, reduce and increase pace, and overtake, but I could not find the option to increase simulation speed. I'm just thinking 10 laps on the Ring without being able to speed up simulation might get boring very fast.

Let me elaborate.

If I have a silver paint item and a yellow car. If I paint the car silver, obviously I still have the yellow paint item, but what if I paint the car back to yellow, do I get the silver back?

PD/KY is not big on car color or paint.... they don't want to be FORZA in that regard... (although I see noting wrong with giving users a paint tool)

You will have to drive with colors that KY/PD/Manufacturers want (that last one is a guess) not what you can create out of your own taste :ouch:

uhm i like the replays, but i did use the speeding up alot for Endurance races in GT4. it should be stupid if its gone. alot of people does not find that option :ouch:

I thing PD uses the original paint colors for the cars. like in real-life in the dealer's showroom, you can only choose what they have.

Agreed. Also in "real life" after you buy a car and it's yours, you can paint every single part of that car as you wish.

This game will be great anyway.

Seriously in some parts, this is the first time i can not tell the difference between a game and a real race

The only thing that i don´t like in here is that the cars don´t look wet.But still it looks real.

Night racing looks so good. I love driving at night and I love driving in the rain and this game nails those two things perfectly.

Seriously, I can't get enough of these, but is there any chance of someone doing an audio test?? For example, take 10 cars which in reality have iconic or awesome sound and record them(via cables, not with camera mic) and then change their exhausts and record them again, so we can hear the difference! Please?
