GDC will probably be more depressing for GT fans than an emo's MySpace page. Meanwhile, a totally wasted Greenawalt blurts out everything about Forza 4 while walking across the Microsoft stage naked except for underpants and socks, clutching a bottle of Smirnoff's.

If I ever decided to get wasted, I would like to get wasted with Greenawalt for sure. :D

I would like to, but my expectations are so high for the game I just want it already. It's hard to lower my expectations from where they are, rather than where they should be
My expectations for GT5 are even more higher since I saw that pic (lower part):

Weather effects coming this summer for FM3 or just concept art never coming to life?

I find it frustrating and depressing to see this kind of "journalism" all the time.

EDIT: This is the biggest GT site in the world, dont you think an interview like that wasnt posted already when its a month old?

First off, yes, I know Porsche won't be in GT5, but it's interesting that there's a silver diecast Porsche Cayman S sitting on the shelf anyway. (in the mid right hand side of the picture)

EDIT: Wow, funny how you sometimes find 2 interesting facts in 1 day, but I think I have.
I was just watching "Truth in 24" on my ipod, and at 6:10 seconds, you can clearly see a banner on the side wall which reads "Gran Turismo", next to a Playstation banner. Maybe this means the 24 Hours of Lemans is gonna be in GT5!

The game wont have 3 BDs, i said it back then and i say it now.

Yeah, I agree, no way it will fill 3 BDs with actual gamedata, but I think what we've seen could be something like
-making of / history / museum
-photomode
-game

Just speculating, but I think photo and museum features could be huge...

:)

Gran Turismo is one of the main sponsors for Le Mans since the GT3 times iirc.
And GT4 had two 24h Le Mans races.

EDIT:

I need to check if they already had these GT ads before, but theyre in the chicanes (and other places) since ages. The Gran Turismo/PlayStation Pescarolo car from GT4 exists in real life too and Pescarolo is still sponsored from Sony with PS & GT.

At this point, unless you actually see it in-game, don't get your hopes up very high just because you see GT advertised or mentioned somewhere. :indiff:

Upon viewing the video where Kaz/PD are looking at the box art for the "box set", it looks to me like there is only one game case, and two thick manuals. I don't think there will be three disks at all.

Edit: Here...

Well, we ultimately don't know, but to me it looks like cases, one's black with white text, one's red and one's blue (backwards), just like GT4 had a white case.

Two manuals, this big, don't make too much sense either, do they? :)

Really, though. I wonder about his health and personal life. I mean he smokes and is presumably under the highest level of stress imagineable (Japanese business men randomly explode and/or just die all the time from stress.)

If I interviewed him, I'd ask him what his doctor says about him and whether there's a Mrs. Kaz or Kaz Jr. in the plans.

Even Keiichi Tsuchiya (the drift king) smokes. As a smoker, I wouldn't recommend anyone to start smoking but personally, I find that it helps me deal with stress. Of course I can do yoga or meditate but it's not rock n' roll enough :)

Although the figures are coming down, the numbers smoking in Japan are very high at over a quater of the population doing so. I think for men, the average is 40% across the country.
