Just downloaded all 3 from Japanese store. No where to be found
New events: Why is there a 850 bhp limit on the NASCAR event which prevents me from entering mine, that has run in and is now 880? I did no upgrades, since none are available... Not fair.

Don't recall that, but no worries. Grinded Indy, got #99 and already won gold and a Million credits
Now I need to tune the Focus properly. Can't get better that Silver.
Oh, beware of the weight limitation on the Mustang. Don't go for the bonnet or windows or level one would put it under 1500kg

make a room, give him the room serial number (found in the top left corner of the room lobby) and have him enter the number in the online main menu.

Or, go to community tab, click the coffee cup icon, create a room. Then have your friend click community tab and then go to your profile and click the coffee cup icon. For a private race.

These gifts are increasing by 1 each day, I got 10 cards and 10 paints today! What's the betting that I'll get 11 of each tomorrow? I think something might be happening after then, 11 of each - 2011 then maybe an update or these 'car presents' maybe

I haven't gotten any paint at all. Just cards. Usually 6 or 7 it seems.

It doesn't notify you of paints, check your items list it should be growing.

Seems to be random.
My save game got corrupted, when I accidently switched off the PS3 from the power socket, lucky I did backup to my USB stick 2 days ago - thank you for protection removal!!! I'll be backing up everyday from now on... and transfer the save to PC for archiving!
Anyway after restoring my save file, I was back down to 5 paints and 5 cards..

It defaults to 5 paints and cards if you miss a day otherwise it goes up by one each day.
That's what it has done with your backup save, but it looks like 10 is the cap because that's what it gave me today.

Same here.
I agree, it "rewards" you for playing everyday, but only up to 10 apparently.
