i just finished historic races in b-spec and the winning alfa romero ticket looks to have a serial number!!

On the lower right of the ticket (to the left of the year) it has "CN.AR######" (The # are numbers)

Has anyone else won or purchased anything?? I'm thinking this could be individual 'vin' numbers to stop duplication of tickets / cars etc.!

Everyone got the same.False alarm!!

Now they should add more tracks into the game followed by new cars! ;)
Anyway PD did a great job with this update. :)

:odd:
EDIT: Still works with 1.06. Just did it with a SLS AMG as well. It has to be between 1915mm and 1945mm wide. Probably not those exactly though.

However, this glitch does show the capabilities of GT5's damage engine, and that it is not that PD haven't modelled extensive damage with some cars, rather that they are very resistive to any sort of damage inflicted upon them. However, I would like to say that some cars don't get this hood bending effect thing going, but only some (probably the ones that were in damage demo's.)

IMPORTANT EDIT: Doing this, I noticed something very strange. You know how when you have traction control on, and when it starts to limit throttle input, it puts red bar thing in on top of it? Well, mine is slightly off to the left of the the accelerating part. And my collision physics feel...different. If you try this, back up your save. It could turn nasty.

I feel that the threshold for the damage has been lowered. I was fooling around with a DB9 just yesterday and I was able to move the front fender easily.

Anyone know how the loan car system works with the new update? I read you can borrow or rather rent one of someones shared cars but how and how is the price determined?

What the hell....Now during a race my a spec driver has a blue suit with green helmet, gloves and shoes. It was black in the beginning! Nice glitch :dunce:

The RX-7 special event yesterday proved that my "monster-RX-7" handles better than before the 1.06 update - it was quite easy to control the car while drifting, and joining the drifts was so sweet I made that event 6 times in a row :)
(I'm using dfgt)

yeaa....the recovery force aid is set to ON in that race....

I really had fun with it too, maybe I will try to play other races with recovery force on....

Anyone brought up with the update they changed several races from grid to rolling starts? Especially in the Dream car Championship, and the ones that changed have no countdown to start, they show the cars rounding the final corners of the track and then it suddenly flashes to driving view with the word start on the screen. Le Sarthe especially surprised me, didn't have my wheel perfectly straight and went directly into the sand pit to the left of the grandstand.

Any idea why they would change things around? Also changes only affected a-spec, b-spec still has grid starts.

They should add something like a trading system to stop the scamming. Just two boxes were each player can insert items/cars and then hit trade. When both players hit trade it actually trades the stuff. Like in MMORPGS.

The seasonals aren't entirely updated either (only drift and time trials), so I guess most of this weeks update will come later today.

The event series Nº7 are dated to expire on March the 2nd I believe. However, until now they had been updating the online dealership every week. I guess they are slaking on that as well now. They giveth, they taketh.
