This is probably most definately the wrong place to post this, for that im sorry :/ I made a wallpaper that some of you may like. Not quite sure where to post it though? I''ll just post it here for now, if i gets moved could someone point me in the right direction please :D

I hope this doesn't sound stupid but it proves a point- Firefox 4 came out somewhere around 24 hours ago.

New York City downloaded 40,000 copies.
Tokyo downloaded 90,000 copies.

They have computers, they have internet connections, PD even said on the disaster day from his twitter that PD was OK. They've probably had 1 or 2 days off, and then back to work.

Also just play online... most of the nurburgring rooms a full of japenese gamers.
 
Any news about Poliphony and Kazunori Yamauchi?? What are they doing now?? What's their situation over there? In the last news (15 days ago) they twitted something.. but what's up now?
 
Patch 1.0.9 is online. No info on it yet, 48 MB but downloading very slowly.

How do they number these?

Update: The news section has an entry stating patch 1.0.9 is to disable the Nurburgring cheating. The news section also says the Lamborghini event has been updated, it is dated 4/7, I could not see any changes from last week. Additionally, the Online Dealership has been refreshed.

GT6 is already in development. But DLC is also possible for GT5. I hope they tells us what they doing next at E3 :)

On that note i would like to say, they need to steal the physics or "whatever" from Valcon Games's Suzuki TT Superbikes and add that to the game. I ride, I've played Tourist Trophy, They need to put this in the game.

Kaz said it is one of the interviews. He also said karts was actually not finalized for GT5 but it got leaked so they decided to put it. You can bet next GT game is coming sooner, not like 4yrs away from GT5 and will definitely be on PS3.
 
I have a feeling the recently discovered 24 Tracks on GT dot com are for remote racing only. I seriously doubt all of them make it to A-B Spec, if any at all.

I hope I am wrong.
 
The remote race tracks are the same tracks as you ride in A- and B-spec so if they make them and put them in the game for remote race it's just stupid to block them from A- and B- spec..

Here is to hopeing they will be added to the game.. 👍

I don't think you would be able to utilise these tracks for remote racing unless they are downloaded to your PS3.

He never said that.He actually said the opposite, like PS3 isn't enough for their vision of GT, and the next console is still to be decided. (like all creative people he just don't know the answer, time will show)

I doubt they'll add tracks for the purpose of remote racing as why would there need to be extra tracks for remote racing?
In fact remote racing probably only needs one single track to work, or maybe I'm missing something here.
If new (or better put, old) tracks are added, the most logical reason to add them is to drive on them yourself (although the word logical might not be appropriate...).
They most likely wouldn't be integrated into A/B Spec (as then the whole game structure would need to be redesigned) but they could be used in free practice (or arcade mode), online and maybe used by PD in the seasonal events.
I really hope these tracks will be added eventually but something tells me to not get my hopes up.

That would be really stupid of them to just have it for B-spec.

Your last sentence describes my stance on the matter. I agree that it makes sense to include the these new tracks on all modes, but that would be too good to be true.

As I said, I am hoping for the best, and the best being GT5 Spec II, even though it in all likelihood won't happen.

Unfortunately based on some of the other design decisions that went into making GT5, this is EXACTLY the sort of thing I would expect to come true. Followed by a baffled look on Kaz's face, shocked that anyone would be upset they couldn't actually drive on these tracks other than in remote racing. Kinda like the Nuerburg castle photo shoot location I have to stare at on the game's main screen, but can't actually take pictures at.

Or the fact that we can see our standard cars in Photomode locations in the main menu, but we're not allowed to use them in Phototravel. :crazy:

If they seriously decide to do something this dumb, I give up all hope of GT5 improving.
