Why are they moving 50 people in the first place?

The first question for me is where is the ps4 being developed because if its anywhere near where the staff are moving, well thats no conincidence

I gave my newbie the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP (Team Peugeot Total) at the GT World Championship round at Circuit de la Sarthe 2009. Here's what happened- the driver was out of both Strength and Mental Strength... and it wasn't even halfway through the second of four laps! I was worried my driver would croak like powerhouse sports teams in big games. Turns out, he kept on racing like it was nothing. Ended up winning by 14 seconds over the 2nd Place BMW McLaren F1 GTR car.
Idk if anybody else heard about this yet, but Polyphony is moving away from Tokyo. Just thought it'd be interesting news.

1. As stated above, its only 50 people and they are just moving to Fukuoka.
2. Old news, refer to previous page.
The AI races a bit whilst your behind, but once you pass, it's like they give up.
The AI in Arcade mode is a lot more competative and you can have some pretty intense races, though you obviously don't get any benefit from winning.
It would be great if you could select each car in a race, their tyres and PP. You could set up your own races to suit.
They would need to revise brake physics and dynamics first.I had a dream a couple of days ago that update 1.50 would bring brake tuning like in GT4.
I'll admit- I haven't played GT5 in a couple of days. Maybe it's because I've been slowly trying to build up my young PS3 library. It gave me some time to reflect on playing GT5 for about four weeks. Part of me still thinks the non-online aspects could have been much longer. Then again, why would you need to tinker with non-online races when the online elements simply enhance an already huge game?
I still think the Standard cars could have been treated better. Come on, now. The Standards basically get thrown in like extras. And since they are like extras, they are like... "oh, you're not missing anything." That's even considering that these were the cars that didn't get the Premium treatment yet are still sought after. And so they are Used cars that don't get the same Dealership treatment as the Premiums? That's really a big disappointment to me. Basically, an analogy of this would be like if GT3 had every last car from GT2 along with the GT3-model cars.
The online element is pretty good ranging from competing in or watching races. I've mostly been watching races and hearing the Voice Chat stuff. Some cars moved around really funky online. Regardless, it can be very fun (or annoying) to see and compete in these online races.
In conclusion, though, my love of GT5 didn't really take flight until after downloading the latest updates. It just made me appreciate the game more than I already have. And let me just say again- thanks to all of you who congratulated me on getting a PS3 and GT5. Glad to join both the GT5 and PS3 families.
every race is a rolling start, why?
every race is a rolling start, why?
i like it sometimes, but not in the lowest classes
in the beginning we had normal starts but it is removed after an update
i like to have rolling starts in the more higher classes of the racing series
(have you ever tried starting very slowly on a slope in GT5?)
I guess because it's easier on the AI, graphics (framerate), and avoids exposing flaws in the physics engine at low speeds (have you ever tried starting very slowly on a slope in GT5?).

Nothing really new but good to see some more tidbits. Gran Turismo 5 was always a bit rough around the edges, but I feel we'll see GT6 on PS3 and it will be like a fine, delicious red wine.A hazy future for Gran Turismo
PD president Kazunori Yamauchi has responded to several questions from Autoweek magazine. From his responses, we can gather that GT6 is basically confirmed to be already under development and that we'll be waiting less than we did for GT5. Kaz states:
"GT5 represents a completely new operating system. GT6 will be a group of new applications running on that system."
In other words, Gran Turismo 6 will use the technologies put in place in GT5. Its development time will therefore be shorter and it could be released sooner than we think....
Sooner than we think eh? Where have I heard that one before?
Thanks for the translation though.
Meh, honestly since GT6 is the second (technically 3rd) game on this engine, I have a feeling we will see a ton of solid content as far as tracks and cars this next time out.
The two big things lacking for me in GT5 were Premium cars and well-done, PS3 calibour tracks. If they can focus more on content this round, we'll see more of that for sure. Think of the leap in content from GT1 to GT2.
