Yes. Sony would not be so stupid to limit game fps to pathetic 30 fps. I would understand if all games had to be 60 fps

20 GB of combined memory screams fake. As does the dual-chip GPU, and whatever the hell version of the Cell (which has officially been discontinued) they're including, unless they're really trying to convince us it's going to have 16 of them...

As a 4GB Xbox owner, it's not stupid if that's all you can afford at the time. And you can always buy a bigger hard drive for it later once you're better on money, which is what I did.

Everything about the next gen consoles is speculation. I wouldn't be surprised if they make them overkill in current specs due to wanting more feasible lifespan out of the systems.

Excuse me, but I have recently bought the 4 GB 'Box and I am far from stupid. Think maybe you ought to rethink your comment there pal. Calling people stupid for doing something before you know the whole story of why they did what they did is an unintelligent statement in itself.
Just FYI, I got said 'Box for $100.00 brand new. Even with having to buy a bigger HD, the total price is still well below the store price of the 'Box that comes with the bigger HD. So, not so stupid uh?
Sorry, off topic I know, but it really grinds my gears when people make statements without knowing the facts first.

The Xbox is 🤬 and also doesn't play a single Gran Turismo title, so why does it belong in the GT5 forum??

Why futher go down the road of stirring up the xbox crowd? Also a system not being able to play GT doesn't detract from it.

You only need to see the specifications to believe it or not.

First of all That CPU sounds like the same as the PS3 but like it is a "16 core" because of the 16 PPEs (Power Processing Elements) and the 128 SPEs (Synergistic Processing Elements). Our PS3 has 1 PPE and 8 SPEs. So 16PPE´s (16 cell processors) X 8 SPE´s = 128 SPEs.
Only that just sounds crazy and way too powerful. Just think about that in the market right now you can find 8 cores CPU max.

The other crazy thing is the memory. 10GB XDR2 is the memory for the Cell processor like RAM in an average CPU (and that can be right taking in consideration the other info above) and the 10GB GDDR6...well just to say that there is no GDDR6 in the market. This is the memory that GPU´s uses. And by now the most powerful GPU´s uses GDDR5. And no more than 3 or 4 Gigs in a single dual GPU card. (like GTX690 -3gigs- or HD6990 -4gigs-).

The rest will be great and normal but the Cell CPU just seems crazy and fake as well as the memory GDDR6 that not exist...yet.

SO yes this is fake. And imagine the cost of all this. Even the GPU is dual GPU and that G104 kepler is 28Nm not 22. lol

Why not just wait a couple of weeks and get the one you want? That 4gb is not "for gamers". It's for gift buyers that want to buy little Johnny an Xbox some can play that shooting game with the other 10 year olds.

4gb equals 2 demos. Loads of fun there.

To think that the next gen of consoles is going to have 16gb of HDD space is ridiculous. Especially when the rumor mill says that the gaming companies want to have download only games to eliminate the resale shops.

Of a PS3 was offered in a 4gb, buying a 500gb HDD is less than $100. You can't do that with Micro$oft's proprietary storage system.

My feet are firmly planted on the PlayStation side of this WAR.

Please keep in mind that my point of view is coming from the retail side. The vast majority of people who buy that 4gb sku are people buying it as a gift. Gamers are educated and are well aware of how limited 4gb really is and typically wouldn't take the bait. Apparently there are exceptions (the 10%). If your offended, I'm sorry.
