Anyone have a bead on this track from the PSP opening movie?

Jeepers... can you imagine the grand spectacle of racing up and down a mountain like that?? And people say graphics aren't that important...
Actually, people don't say graphics are not that important - of course they are important. Just that some people put core gameplay first along with how the game actually handles. Eye candy is great the first time you see it, but you soon get used to it. Nothing can change a game that doesn't play well.

I agree, that's why I've sold my TDU copy for the PS2, I've enjoyed watching the cars and taking them for a spin, but the poor physics and lack of challenge make the game very very boring to play after a week.

Regarding to graphics, the improvement was firstly remarkable in Prologue, but PD worked to correct some imperfections and I'm sure they've improved the lighting effects and textures, GT5 will be the best looking game on the PS3 by far. :sly:

Here's something interesting, Probably been mentioned before but who's ever noticed how the FT86 Trailer (and screen shots) the guy driving the car isn't wearing a helmet, gloves or race suit. Instead just casual clothes.

It's the first time i notice it too, maybe there is some Tourist Trophy like driver options whereby you could choose racing suits or casual clothing.

some unknown point to point (I think) track based in the Alps, or mountain pass in Italy, Stelvio Pass area etc

It looks like the Stelvio Pass especially from those similar markers and walls, that would be fantastic if some point to point event could be hold on the Stelvio, wow GT5 could be really different from what we used to.

Imagine recreating the opening sequence of the original Italian Job driving down these roads in a Lamborghini Miura with the Matt Monroe soundtrack, only this time there won't be a Caterpillar waiting for you in the tunnel.....;)

ok guys what you expect from e3 2010?
My thoughts
A new build Tokyo demo
A new build damage system in SLS
Pit Crew will show itself
Some new racing Tracks and WRC section
more polygonized trees

Not to steal TGS's thunder here, but I'm hearing some interesting news about a car being included in GT5 and, by extension, the marque which makes it.

I'm seeking a bit of clarification - and what precisely I'm actually allowed to say here - but it's quite good news...

I suppose this means a certain thread is going to get even bigger. Imagine the number of "'i told you so".

When you say TGS? Are you referring to the Tokyo Game Show. Why would they announce at TGS rather than E3. If i'm wrong that's ok, it would be nothing new.

HMMMM...Porsche?

Incidentally admitting then?

My guess is either Porsche or Maserati, both would be welcome.
