i have a feeling where this info is coming from
ORLY?
... and some lower case letters edited in here to stop the daft thing decasing my post.
i have a feeling where this info is coming from
Oh that, I noticed that a few days ago and re-downloaded it, didn't notice anything different.
Just watched again and still didn't notice any difference.
...and former f1 champion Mika Häkkinen will drive the Nürburgring on the GT5-simulator.
This may have been suggested before but it's worth watching the latest video in high quality direct from www.gran-turismo.com using your PS3's browser. It's much better quality than on a PC (or mine at least) and you can use the right analog stick to slo-mo forward frame by frame, very useful for checking out the damage.
You might be desperate for information, but I've brought you all I can for now. It might be just a bit of info in a game for you, but it's someone else's livelihood - and they're putting it at risk to bring it to you.
Maybe I'm desperate for information but perhaps you're desperate for attention. In other words, you come with little to no information (though we're grateful you're in a position to know certain things). But in the end, your offering is imaginary and of little value to us.
Take the information as what it is - rumour of a manufacturer making a return to the series, from a credible source. Then get on with something else. Guess if you want, in full knowledge that I won't confirm any correct ones.
I took the information for what is is: Nothing much. And it isn't even your fault, but you would have been better off not mentioning this in the first place. Then there'd be no prying from myself or the other members here. But again, maybe you like this game of cat and mouse. Or whatever it's called when someone has information (though he's not 100% sure of it), and dangles it precariously over a pit of hungry members.
Last time I saw someone say something similar to a respected member that attempted to let us know that some interesting info was brewing about he stopped being an active member of this site.
There is no GT5 trailer on the euro GOW3 disc

I'd trade about 1,000 members to keep the both of them.I for one would trade Famine for Amar back anyday!
Yes, I was responding to your post. The comments that led to Amar getting upset started with people saying that if he can't tell us anything directly he shouldn't tell us anything at all. Eventually it broke down into worse, but that was where I saw people beginning to act negatively toward someone attempting to bring us what info he can.I assume you're talking to me, no?
I'd never throw a man under a bus. But his information, surely.

If nothing else, you can take from Famine that we will be getting a manufacturer that we lost in the past. From the way people act like we never get any news you would think that was huge, and you can see that some people are having fun trying to figure it out.
Something is awry then. I understood that the EU disc would not have a GT5 trailer, but this evidence strongly suggests that the UK disc DOES have a trailer on somewhere. The BBFC only rate games in the UK, and as you can see, they viewed a 2:42 trailer for Gran Turismo 5 on the disc. So either this has been cut, or there IS a new trailer somewhere on the disc. Has anyone from the UK actually got GoWIII yet? After all, it was only out here today. It would be good if someone could check this out.
2:42 is also not the same length as the US "Nights" trailer, so it would probably be totally new, if there is one at all.
SrRd RacinG @ You mean the McLaren? Obviously you haven't paid attention to what Famine has said so far.
If anyone here is from Poznań (Poland):

My only question is: How can ONE car carry so much importance?
I understand your point, although I don't agree with it. But one could also ask:
How can ONE misplaced shadow in a bumper in a screenshot carry so much importance?
How can the inexistence of reverse lights or skidmarks carry so much importance?
How can the number of pixles in ONE tree carry so much importance?
How can the unworking clock in ONE car carry so much importance?
And ultimately, How can ONE simple videogame carry so much importance?
He 'can't' or won't? I think there is a big difference. I know there is some kind of agreement between press and their sources to respect secrecy clauses. But people, this isn't nuclear warfare or a cure for cancer; it's a game. Honestly, what dire consequences could arise from revealing one single car that is known to be in the game?
Famine has already declared that he will not let us know even if someone guesses correctly. Which leads me to think that Famine's original post has absolutely no point other than to show off that he knows something that we don't.

This is the US version of the 'Nights' trailer and it IS 2:42
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2010/03/12/new-gran-turismo-5-trailer-night-racing/
So if it is there it's most likely the same trailer.
I understand your point. You're being deductive. I'm being inductive
No, really! I'm going from: why is this mystery car so important? And you're coming from the angle of: why isn't everything else important?
Did you ever think that maybe he does want to tell us? It would look good for GTP to get something first that we didn't take from a zoomed in image of video, but he had enough respect from whomever he heard this info from to check with them first. But since he cannot and will not confirm anything, it's sort of silly. It is, in my opinion. I do hope, though, that he can reveal it soon.
I'm seeking a bit of clarification - and what precisely I'm actually allowed to say here - but it's quite good news...
