Something is awry then. I understood that the EU disc would not have a GT5 trailer, but this evidence strongly suggests that the UK disc DOES have a trailer on somewhere. The BBFC only rate games in the UK, and as you can see, they viewed a 2:42 trailer for Gran Turismo 5 on the disc. So either this has been cut, or there IS a new trailer somewhere on the disc. Has anyone from the UK actually got GoWIII yet? After all, it was only out here today. It would be good if someone could check this out.

2:42 is also not the same length as the US "Nights" trailer, so it would probably be totally new, if there is one at all.

Yes, I was responding to your post. The comments that led to Amar getting upset started with people saying that if he can't tell us anything directly he shouldn't tell us anything at all. Eventually it broke down into worse, but that was where I saw people beginning to act negatively toward someone attempting to bring us what info he can.


If nothing else, you can take from Famine that we will be getting a manufacturer that we lost in the past. From the way people act like we never get any news you would think that was huge, and you can see that some people are having fun trying to figure it out.

I just think it would have been better to remain silent until the time was absolutely, 100% right. I know, it's something to talk about. It gives us a little game to play. Did you ever think that maybe he does want to tell us? It would look good for GTP to get something first that we didn't take from a zoomed in image of video, but he had enough respect from whomever he heard this info from to check with them first.

I think the issue that is there, and that you point out, is that what he considers "quite good news" might just be fodder for someone else to say, "Why did they leave out X car and put in Y car?" as if that is how the process works.

For me, personally, confirmation that we are getting a car we have never seen before is quite good news in itself. It tells me I won't just be getting GT PSP + Prologue + Racing cars.
