Doubt it very much. The bundle we be Nov.-Dec. time!

From NeoGAF:

On my way home from work I seen my local GAME store putting up pre order posters for gt5. It mentions a release date of 25th September.

They looked like faxes, maybe just faxed from head office?

May mean nothing but I'm sure GAME are in the loop.

The damage modeling should be on all cars (race cars / every day cars) or no GT5 until PD could acomplish that . This realy sucks 4 + years on waiting on what 170 cars with damage , as i posted before I hope this is just a joke and all cars include damage .

well hopefully it'll be all game stores that'll have this up, if i'm near one i'll take a picture if they have one in my local game store

I don't think the 25th would work, assuming they announce the release date at TGS that would give them like a day for marketing.

There are about four billion people on here that sure as hell don't need there to be any marketing, judging by the "wind" thread.

Guys, please, please, don't trust anything related to a release date by a retailer. The retailers announced our release date about 3 months before we'd even internally decided when we were going to release. No prelim date announce either. It won't be an official date.

There are only 120,000 registered members. That would be an EPIC failure if they only sold 120,000 copies.

I'm not bothered about crash damage, sure it would be great to have it on all cars & its a bit of a kick in the nuts when everyone has been expecting it but I like Gran Turismo because no other game can get close in terms of how realistic the cars feel.

We know that, but putting posters in the store with that date seems like is more serious.

When I see pics of these "posters" I will beleive them. Until then, it is just some guy trying to get attention.

Looks like Polyphony have made a blunder which will affect the cars handling...

Considering PD went to the n-th degree with the modelling of these cars etc, I'm a little confused how PD have managed to overlook something.

Look at the Subaru WRC in the video and tell me what's wrong...

It' probably won't jump right out at you unless you freeze the video, and only if you follow WRC.

Rally cars run (roughly) 3 different setup options, snow / gravel / asphalt - each uses different size wheels, ride height etc depending on the surface - now look again at the video and see if you can spot the gravel spec Impreza running on an asphalt track... :sly:

Again, it's a demo so i think they threw the rally car in there with co-pilot and all, because it had the best (only?) damage modeling.

honestly at this rate i wouldn't doubt it. im starting to think it wont be released this year. honestly gt5 has always been a joke about release dates and such. but really if there is no day tgs im done with this game. i wont care anymore till its actually in stores. gt5 has let me down completely.

I think that when you are getting gameplay of game, its practically just around the corner. TGS will have more than gameplay, it will be a step up from gamescom.

Some how I feel when this game is released you will have a lot of DLC patches to patch previous DLC patches . Come on PD get more serious and just come out and say the game will be realeased in 2009 or 2010 thats all most peple want to know and to clear up the air on the whole damage on some cars issue.

I'm guessing that date would be a bit soon, as the damage isn't that great so far. But that's not taking away from PD's attempt in doing so.
