&Q%$?"~ on virtues! """Gimme that damn bloody game now, KAZ!"""

Would be funny when dave chappelle would make a clip with shaun murphy about the GT5 theme...:D

J-PaP
They could always release it the same day as the new 360. That will throw a spanner in console sales for MS

Lol yeah don't worry about the game being 90% complete, so is the console.

I just want a declared date, I hope Kaz has slept well, perhaps if he's in a good mood he can accidentaly blab about some other details. :mischievous:

Also, a demo sounds good to me, but honestly, it will be only valuable if it is in fact, the final demo created to promote the game. Enough of lame versions created for filling showfloors, give us two tracks and some cars PD, I'm quite sure everyone who experience a decent demo will buy the game after that.

I don't know about your guys, but I spent the night grinding some more money in Prologue, driving a RUF through the 'ring passed me mind many times yesterday, and today is the D-Day I feel like a teenager when I talk about this game. :D

Fixed that for you :)

Did anyone catch the Ubisoft conference at all? Nothing all that special, but i caught the Driver reveal and the hand animations in cockpit view were amazing!! PD could learn a thing or two ;)

I had a nightmare last night, Kaz took the stage and announced that GT5 will be ready very soon they just have a few things to tweek in the mean time GT5 Prologue II will be in shops from next month at £39.99.

That's the saddest thing I've ever heard.

^^ What about putting that on the EMO thread? ;)

Seriously, whatever the outcome E3 brings, we'll have tons of new info, so chill out people, whilst I agree that the release is the major issue to be addressed, many other new features will be interesting to see. Also, there's the possibility of a demo, so fingers crossed.

Are you crazy? :dunce:
Were you crying when you woke up?

Can´t believe it´s almost here. After five and a half years of waiting, our day has finally come.

I think it will be hard to fullfill our lofty expectations, but in the end, if it´s just like Prologue, but with more content i´ll enjoy it.

GT1 came to me as a surprise, GT2 didn´t took long. GT3 was shortly after, and back then i did not had Internet nor a PS2.

The wait for GT4 was a bit tense... but it was the second game on the generation, so nothing ground breaking. Game was great, but had a lot of shortcomings due to the fact that the PS2 was already tapped out.

Ever since GT4 we are expecting new features that can only be done with more power... and so the wait began.

I´ve followed forums and websites everyweek searching for clues on what my favorite game would look like on its apparent definitive version. Bought a PS3 and a G25 in 2007, in preparation for GT5. Purpusedly left credit on my bank of america account, from the time i lived on the USA, just so i could have funds to buy DLC for GT5...

And now, today (or maybe only on the closed presentations, but whatever) is the day we will finally have answers to our questions. Winds will materialize, rumours will be facts and hopefully locations, variations and tracks will have a clear meaning.

Thanks GTP for making the wait easier. I´ve made a lot of friends here and i know this is a special day for us:tup:

Once the game is released,l it´s all about WRS and Online meetings, but for now, antecipation!!!

I´ll watch the conference taped after the WC match, but a huge  for all of us.

Hoping for variable fuel loads and Preworn tyres for added pitstop fun.

Guess we will finaly hear engine noise without background noise and such.
Er that's of course if they don't play a soundtrack over the top.
Actually I've just talked myself into believing we won't get to hear any engine noises.

Bah.

@fasj6418 - Wise words from one of the few fellow Brazilians around. 👍

Honestly, if Trial Mountain is in the promo video, my nose won't stop bleeding till friday. Bring it PD. :)

Ditto also the GT2 Super speedway.

Heres hoping :)

More likely it'll show more of Rome and Madrid.

I think the big blowout is information on features such as track editor, livery editor, weather, day/night cycles, car trading (Auction house maybe? Stealing good ideas from competitors and then improving them is how the computer games industry works.)

The big blowout in the trailer should be the damage. We keep seeing that same WRC Impreza with panels hanging off, but we haven't seen any structural damage to the cars at all...

4 hrs 30 mins left. But if I am being totally honest, i dont expect much more than a new vid, maybe some previously unseen cars/tracks, and some of the games features. Its the closed doors media briefing that will give up the most info.

Hope I am wrong but thats the way I see it.

Question of the day:

Can you guys think of another group of people who are more pumped for E3?

I certainly cannot.

I'm sure there are other nerds out there who are looking forward to other things, I just think we're the most organized

Im looking forward to some official gt5 news. instead of stuff from the dark corners of the net and shaky cam replays. as for a group more excited that us... xbox fan boys maybe... I mentioned the word lag once about kinect (4?) and I thought I was going to be attacked. talk about being blind to the cause.
but Im hoping for a little info on features, a cool game play vid with some damage modelling, then closing with a solid release date. I'll be happy then.

Many website are starting to speculate on the release date since a man (who talked with a Sony's representative) back from 24 hours of Le Mans said the game will be released on the 24th September 2010.
