You're not the one on vacation with a crappy internet connection since yesterday:nervous: All I can do is read the forums, I can't watch videos on youtube, they don't even load(!!!), live streams don't work either so tomorrow I'm sure I'll miss everything. Tension? I'm desperate...

Actually no. Click around gtplanet until you get to the picture of the ACR viper at the top of the page, and you will see the stripe is on the left side/passenger side.

Actually yes. The image in the banner at the top is flipped as I said it might be.

Here is the original:

Id kinda take a guess that all tracks will feature day night weather.... etc else its not going to be one unified game...its gonna be so bitty and pieced together.

Id guess premium tracks are created from scratch for gt5, normal tracks are tracks from previous gt games with more up to date visuals. i.e higher res textures/ increased geometry in various areas, more details etc. but not built from scratch... built using old assets might be wrong tho.

Multiple trailers excites me in the pants

Do you guys think a GT5 demo will be likely? They say in the comments that there will be a handful tomorrow to download. GT5 a candidate?

I really hope see new GT5 things but not all... i need discover last things durring the game.

But, real maximum damage, dynamic weather and some menu and fixe release date, will be perfect for me.

Race Sim Central schedule for E3

I’m seriously pumped up for what we have scheduled for this year’s E3 Expo. Every time we think we’ve got the list covered, something new is added to it. Here’s a peek at what we have planned for our E3 coverage.

Sony / Polyphony – Gran Turismo 5
Tuesday, June 15th – Mercedes Benz / Gran Turismo VIP Event – Developer Kazanori Yamauchi will be on hand as well as 6 rigs, one with 3D running GT5.

Wednesday, June 16th – Closed door breakout session for Gran Turismo 5. This session will be hosted by Kazunori Yamauchi, and he’ll be addressing a select group of media with a presentation that will focus on new information regarding GT5 as well as unveiling some of the new features in the game. (No Video coverage)

Thursday, June 17th – Interview with the GT team on E3 floor

Gran Turimo 5 fans should check back late Wednesday for some notes on what I hear in the “closed door breakout session

Race Sim Central schedule for E3

Now, we're talking :) me like! This week is going to be a pain... We have been waiting for so long, but now 3 days is going to be unbearable! But in a good way :) Just hope they will reveal something good already tomorrow!

It's not surprising, closed-door tech presentations aren't a new thing. Remember how Nanaki mentioned they weren't supposed to show the 908's interior as well.

That was at a race track. This is at the biggest gaming conference of the year.

When GT3 was due for release there was the same big buzz and secrecy.

I remember everyone was trying to get videos or even pictures of the "wet" tracks before release and it was impossible to find them. It took the Japenese release for someone to actually get them up. If I remember correctly.

Maybe thats what the closed door session is for. That is to keep the "best bits" from our eyes until we buy it. Talk about them but you'll have to wait to see them kind of thing?

Probably, which is complete BS.

The site doesn't claim it's sources for that info, just FYI.

I'll wait and see what we have in store for 20 minutes tomorrow.

20 minute thing is Thursday at IGN.com

Tuesday is the Sony official E3 press conference. Which is the big one. That thing on Thursday may not be much.

Remember, although one of sonys biggest priorities IS GT5, They also must allow even times for all there games as well. 20 minutes isn't that short, Sure, it may not be enough time to answer questions, but this isn't a press conference, but a presentation. They can release many features, talk about it briefly, and play a trailer in that time with no sweat. Plus, Who knows, This isn't the only information were going to get till release, Infact conferences aren't the only dose of information for any game either... Its day to day coverage, around the web, interviews, and leaks that detail the information that we get.

I highly doubt its a 'closed door special', This is GT5 were talking about, Sony has hufe priority for it, and If they show off move with it (If it gets used in a good way), then it can steal the crowd easily. PD doesn't have say in every department. Sony wants the money.

Just so you know, you can quote multiple posts in ONE single post. Just open up a new tab, copy the info, and post it in your ONE post.:)

Probably, which is complete BS.

You must be new to this whole process or something. It's standard procedure for a lot of games (and as another example, car companies) to do closed-door presentations. Where members of the media get a sneak peek at things the general public will have to wait for, or simply hear about through the media. It's a basic way of increasing coverage. You think you have some right to every bit of a company's work? Seriously?

Maybe PD should set up webcams in their HQ. You know, so you can personally get every little bit of info. Because it's owed to you.

...

On-topic: The fact that there's going to be a closed-door presentation is a good sign, I think. There's nothing saying we won't be getting reports back from it, and it means PD has enough ammo with them that they'll be able to fill their public spot, as well as give the media something extra. The chances of some surprises popping up are only increasing.

Sorry, I already posted, and refreshed the page- then I read his comment... I'll Try not to double post next time.

I've done it a few times too. It's just cooler to respond to multiple users at once. Now you know the secret!

And yes, editing=win.

I've been checking out G4TV's and IGN's coverage of E3 so far and reading what they expect from the Sony press conference tomorrow; neither say anything about any information about GT5. These two companies are serious main-stream gaming news sources, and if they expect nothing about GT5, why should we? All they are talking about is the Playstation Move and its games. I'm waiting for Wednesday/Thursday for unique tidbits to slip out from closed-door press conferences. Meanwhile, I do suspect a fairly conservative trailer and perhaps, oh just perhaps, a release date during the press conference tomorrow, but nothing more than that. And, lets be serious here, what else would we need from PD? It would be most unbecoming from them to not impress us with the game we have been waiting for the better half of a decade for.

Oh god I hope so. They should have never taken away our TT demo.

Of course they don't expect anything on GT5, they are still under the impression it'll be delayed til the end of the world and therefore don't care. I'm not gonna go by what they say, I'm going by what I see at the conference which according to the schedule, will having something during that 20 minute time slot.
