Maybe or maybe these cars are finished in terms of qualtiy and this is the final product so this going to be probably how they sound in the final thing(yes purely based on speculation).Anyone have another opinion.
Yes the mustang too thanks strittan.

I don't think it has anything to do with cars being finished or not. I think they don't want to show us that many Prologue cars because it's simply less exciting for us to see "old" cars. :)

It explains why the majority of cars are Japanese. GT1 was meant for japan so most cars were japanese. Then GT2 more worldly cars were added. Since all the data they gathered for GT1 was later used in latter games, now we know why there are 100 skylines and imprezas.

He said 400 cars and 20 Tracks, GT2 had almost 30 tracks and 600+ cars.

There is 22 day delay between 2nd and 24th. Some game companies give free stuff to markets that get game later.
So, it would have been completely sensible if the US had gotten free additional stuff in Prologue? You wouldn't have complained about that?

I been playing GT5 prologue yesterday, online and they should really improve that, when I found a race(or the game did) I found myself in a open ground war,it was cars everywhere, the crash into me and I just get literally launch to the barriers, they were complete a** holes, and no way to throw them out because you know that GT5 prologue doesn't have banning for a** hole players, they should implement some kind of regulation in that aspect.

So, you want a place where jerks like that can go and stay out of your hair...like a stunt arena or something? :P

I did not really pay much attention on Prologue release dates. But of course if they sony want to treat all markets equal we would have same release dates for all continents. Free stuff would be ok compensation but same release date would be the best solution.

I want a reasonable race making system,or at least a banning player option, because you go in your GT-R,you brake to take the turn(as it should be)and then an idiot comes at full speed and make a kamikaze crash, and when you re entry the track some cars become ghosts and then they become real :ouch: ,there should be:

twisted metal GT mode : for a** holes
GT racing mode:for people

Why are you only paying attention when you get the short end of the stick?

As for treating all markets equal: There could be legitimate reasons why one region is getting it later and treating everyone equal could mean that the US doesn't get the game on November 2nd. Would it be fair to the US if Sony said, "We could get it to you on November 2nd, but we want to treat everyone equal, so you only get it when Europe does?" Worse yet, treating everyone equal could also mean that if Asia doesn't get the game until say December 10th that Europe gets it even later too.

And since you have mentioned it twice: What company has given out free stuff to a specific region because the game was released less than a month later in that region?

*Agrees with the above statement* Playing GT5P online is like trying to eat a melted popsicle, you can't.
Never play on Daytona the opponent will shove you into the wall every time.

Well....the F40 and F60 (The Enzo, for those who don't know) Ferraris are in GT5 Hopefully the F50 will be in and maybe even the F70:

Can I just say that the Ferrari F60 is actually the name of the 2009 F1 car, not the Enzo. It was never officially called the F60. But that car is gorgeous.

yeah, I did some searching and the F10 and F60 are actually F1 cars. Although, the Enzo is sometimes referred to as the F60 as it IS the successor to the F50 and it's successor is the F70, so the Enzo would technically be the F60, but to prevent confusion and to honor Mr. Enzo, they simply named it the Enzo.

Hmm, why does the california have louvers on both sides of the hood?

Uhh, ok?

These 18 megapixel images are also renders of the photo's you take with the photo mode, so they're not really 'in-game' remember in gt4 photomode where the image took 3-4 seconds to produce. I think this is the reason why the care remain highly detailed despite being far away, hense look photoshopped. I'm disappointed that the shadows are not rendered clearly through photomode. In my opinion, they should do a proper render with decent lighting, shadow and refelction taking into account.

I'm interested in seeing what "dirt accumulation" looks like.

Do we get real, visible dirt, grime and oil on the cars, especially after long races.

Or do the cars just lose their shine like previous GTs...that would be very disappointing

I thoroughly agree. There might be memory management issues, though, which might require a whole separate engine mode. Not too difficult, but requires foresight (much like the day / night cycles).

The main limitation in photomode will always be texture resolution (including shadow maps, if this is how they're implemented - recall the stepped "jaggies" on interior shadows.)

There can also be a lot more ray-tracing, for infinite reflections / light bounces, shadows, self reflections etc - put the SPUs in the Cell to good use :dopey:
