For me premium cars will look like this:

The standard cars like this:

Discussion over:sly:

Actually the difference is more like this (at least in my opinion):

Standard (from just one angle):

Premium (from mutiple angled views)

But this discussion have been beaten to death but hopefully by GC 09, my prediction will prevail :)

Yup I have been on holiday for a week and the board hasn't moved on AT ALL!!

There is no evidence either way at the moment to give a definitive answer. But people still keep arguing with their own made up theories.

Why people can't just wait for GDC I don't know.

Either way it is what it is, if its going to stop you buying the game then don't buy it. I suspect most people will so all this is pointless.

The GT series has become the biggest racing franchise on Playstation with no cockpit. If PD hadn't have given us a single cockpit it would still have been the GT we all know and love. But no they have gone that bit extra and done 200 stunningly detailed cockpits. People still arent happy.

The other 800?? I don't know and nor does anybody at the moment, its doesn't bother me though as I fell in love with Gt1,2,3,4 without them and will love GT5 if its got them or not.

If all you want is cockpits buy another game that has 100% cockpit view.

+1 Quite right, good sir!

for me they look like a two different games!the first comes from the present ps3 game the second one comes from the future,I mean ps4!!
I promise you, if you think standard cars will look like in GT5P, boy you will be disapointed. Why they look like two different games is because those two cars are so very different in real life. Every detail on that BMW interior is modeled and every detail on that ARTA NSX interior is modeled as well. The thing is that there are so many more details that needs to be modeled on the ARTA.

What is it that is so damn hard to understand? It's been up on the official Gran Turismo website for almost two weeks god damn it!

How is it that simple when, even after being repeatedly questioned about it, did that Christoper guy on that RaceSimCentral interview not answer anything about the standard v premium scenario? Surely if what was on the GT site, included everything about the standard v premium debate then he would have directly answered the question with the information on the site.

It wasn't on there yet.

It wasn't on there yet.

Fair enough. The information wasn't on there yet.

The second time he gets asked about the standard v premium, he says that they want to share the information, and will as soon as they get closer to the launch date. So, 1 week after E3, the GT site gets updated with some new information on standard v premium. Do you actually think they went from E3 saying "we want to, but can't release much information at this time" to 1 week after E3 saying "Standard cars do not support vehicle interior camera views" through a poxy update to their website. Sorry, but I don't. If they wanted to properly let people know about standard v premium cars, they would do it at a major event such as Gamescom.

What he said.
If standard cars will look like in Prologue (with cockpit) - it's a dream. But seriously there is a trap somewhere.

So the question is.... Why didn't he answer the question?
Because he is probably ashamed of the fact that 800 cars will look pretty much like GT4 cars and not have interior, or afraid of being yelled at by us, or he doesn't know whether or not Kaz wants to include the PSP kind of cockpit view to the 800 standard cars.

If the 800 standard cars would look like in GT5P and have interior with cockpit view, he would have told us so.

I repeat,I'm fine with 200cars premium!for me this 800cars upscaled from gt4+gtpsp don't exist,simply I will ignore them!!I just hope that PD improves the engine sound+give us 30-40tracks!!

I know one thing, I'm pumped for the "Lounge" And the 48 player spots with in said lounge, Could make for some awesome sectioned ranked League events, Plus the confirmed voice chat should make it very interesting.

What the hell is so hard about driving the standard cars in bumper...or the roof view.. You did it in GT4. Hell i some times find my self in prologue straying away from the cockpit view to the bumper cam.

It's time for some of you to come home from your vacations in lala-land and come to grips with reality. GT5P cockpits are not standard.

Unless, of course, he couldn't talk about it 'cause Kaz and Sony didn't want him to.

That picture was supposed to pop up at the tail end of his video of him driving his Z on Spa. In real life.

a couple weeks about E3 and we're getting more information about tracks than anything else:

Spa and Stelvio Pass and a Tuscona Road course all pretty much confirmed? Maybe Sony will just admit they're in soon. :P

Pretty negative outlook on a game that has been in development for 6+ years. Also, the PS3 and its blu-ray discs can process and store more data than PSP can, cause the PSP is essentially a PS2-lite. GTPSP was definitely pushing the limits of the PSP but it can't be referenced to GT5 and the PS3.

GT5P cars are all standard. I see no reason why this would be wrong from what we've heard.

Spa actually popped up many months ago (maybe even a year ago, now) in a quick display of track logos. I'd dig around if I could be bothered...

I'm pretty happy it hasn't been shown yet though, and it makes sense; might as well get the really rather bland Madrid and Rome tracks out of the way before dropping that one!

Oh, I'd share the same opinion as you too, if I made a concerted effort to ignore all the constant news saying otherwise.
