IT is premium in Prologue but this time could be a standard car in GT5.Who knows.PD Do you see that?
Why dont you explain it?

What the hell is so hard about driving the standard cars in bumper...or the roof view.. You did it in GT4. Hell i some times find my self in prologue straying away from the cockpit view to the bumper cam.
It's not hard, it's probably a lot easier. Yes I did it in GT4 (and the games before that) because we didn't have cockpit view back then so I didn't have much of a choice, did I?

Then consider yourself lucky to have 200 immaculate premium models to drive in cockpit view. Granted, it took 5 years but I think some people (not specifically directing this at you) don't think that 200 premium models is a lot, plainly because there are 4 times the amount of standard models. Well, to experience each of the 200 premium models fully especially around different tracks, would take you some time. You could say people got bored of the 70 in Prologue, but I think people got bored of the same tracks before they did the cars.

You don't know 100% that the Capp is a Premium car. The ONLY cars we DO know are Premium cars are the ones from the E3 demo. Everything else is PURE speculation.

ok let's suppose that part off Gt5p car list is standard and the rest is premium,I deduce that some standard cars will have a cockpit, for example Capp'!

You mean like all the other Prologue cars we have seen in the trailer and the screenshots?

The reason that it is so hard is because we have come to expect better. When something advances into something new and better (as in my opinion, the cockpit is new and BETTER) then it is hard to go back to what was expected before.
People used to have to make dookie in a bucket outside. Should I be happy if my homebuilder implied that I would be getting a toilet in my house then gave me a bucket? Should we not expect to move forward with technology?
Of Course the game will be awesome but it isn't fair to be upset at people because something that is important to them might not happen - Cockpit view in all cars.
I don't care about alot of the features in the game. Number one example is photomode. To me, that is the biggest waste of time. I want to race cars on a track, not take pictures. But to some people, its important. There was alot of people discussing this in the last news thread but do I go butt in and say "y'all should be happy with a polaroid snapshot. Everyone used to love the quality of a Polaroid! By the way, I don't like Photomode."
IMO, if you don't like a certain topic of a thread, maybe you should stay out of it. That is why I haven't been in a Photomode thread or a thread on reverse lights. But when I come into a thread about someting that matters to me, all we get is a bunch of people telling others to shut up. Get a life.

Umm...again when you saw those cars in the triailer and photos, there wasn't a little arrow pointing to them saying that they were premium or standard. again, the ONLY cars we know 100% for sure are Premium are the ones in the E3 Demo. Most of the cars in the screen shots were available in the demo. But not everything in the trailer was in the demo. And not every prologue car was in the demo, either.

i dont get bored all the models cause i dont even try to play with all of them, i dont want to drive a crappy cappucino. aint that amout of cars are there just for the option.

Your whole post boils down to your expectations. I'll use your example. If we were never expecting a proper toilet, the bucket would do fine. If you were expecting a proper toilet, then obviously the bucket won't do. Although to be fair, in Prologue we got 74 premium toilets and no buckets which made everyone, including myself think that all 1000 lavatories would be toilets. Since the first bucket v toilet news, I'm expecting the very least which is 800 buckets and 200 toilets then I will be less disappointed.

[/BucketToilet example] :)

Okay, the suzuki isn't everyone's cup of cappuccino but you must accept that the wider audience enjoy driving a range of cars and not just your Ford GT's and Gallardo's.

I know what I know, but you surely know something different. I know that the standard cars look like the three standard cars shown on gran-turismo.com and in this standard car video:

They look nothing like the cars in Prologue, period. However, what we do not know yet, is whether these standard cars will have cockpit view or not. If they will, it is likely it will look much like in GT PSP in which the interior is blackened out.

that was my hole point ! i dont want to use all the new cars i want to drive the old ones also. i just used cappucino as an example. :)

Nothing to add.👍

that video has also been removed from the US site. What that means, who knows. But it could imply that the "Standard" cars in the video weren't actually what current "standard" models look like. If the GT site is anything to go buy, though, the tree "Premium" models and three "Standard" cars look pretty similar on the outside.

Actually, I think it's safe to assume that we will not get the blackened frame as a simple interior view for one simple reason: in his earlier tweets, Kaz posted this answer to a question about interior view:

Regarding interior view…do you mean you would want a black frame interior view?

While this doesn't say much, it demonstrates that he hasn't considered the blackened frame as an option. Therefore, I don't think we will get that.

The reasons I personally got bored of Prologue was partly because of the lack of tracks, but mostly because the online mode sucked.

However, I think I'll never get bored of GT5. 200 gorgeous cars, 20 gorgeous tracks, private custom race lobbies, 16 cars in online races and day/night transitions. What else can one wish for? :D

ENOUGH

We have debated this for too damn long and too damn much. Is it too much to ask that you guys need to put this nonsense to rest for 🤬 crying out loud? Seriously. All I see is crap and BS that apparently will never be solved until Gamescon and arguments people seemingly don't want to stop so lets just drop this crap and cease this facepalm marathon we've been having for way too long. There is hell of alot more things we can discuss then this "Premium vs Standard" BS we seem so damn obsessed about.

To me it sounds more like he wants to know if we want it, so he can add it, because it's better than nothing.

True, but will they have enough time to do 800 cockpits, even if they are only a black frame, and still release in November?

BTW this is little bit off topic but have a look of this videos:

And from the videos I can say the following:

1. KY began as a child wishing to be a racing driver not a businessmen and that is why the first one sold so well,by the production of GT2 he move into more "international" territory and came up with that insane amount of cars for and the game sold even better.

2. With the next gen consoles like the PS2 at its time he expected more capabilities for making games but there is where he finds limits for consoles, instead of baking up he repeat the formula of GT2,more cars, more tracks.

3. In GTPSP interviews KY doesn't show the same "spirit"of making a racing game, but he to explain how to adapt the GT racing concept to a portable device(PSP)he seems to have the first concept of GT in portables back in 04 but he was pushed to make GTPSP to launch PSP non Japanese sells.

4. We now know why the cars didn't sound well in GT4,they took the sound from the exaust, not the engine :dunce: .

And finally we know what he really wants to do with GT5,instead or more cars like GT2,what he wants to do is a different game, not the same thing like 10 years ago, I give him credit for that and lets hope that now is technically possible to apply all he wanted 10 years ago,and it seems that way :) .

It also could mean marketing strategy:

"we sold them a game with 200 interior design cars and then we throw the bomb and say that all cars will have cockpits,we design only dashboard for 800 and no back seats or other details, don't get into trouble of detail in those, then say all cars 1000 cars with cockpits,we sell they game by millions and no one will argue about the low detail cockpits"

being optimistic but it had happen several times, like halo reach for example,no new info, beta and everything and now it has space battles

That's a terrible marketing strategy.

I reformulate the question,is the Suzuki Capp' a premium car??

Prove to me that it isn't. They had to get a variety of cars for GT5P so a couple of tiny city cars had to be included. Don't think past it anymore than that. You have no idea what definite rules make a car premium or not so how can you sit there and type that a cappuccino isn't premium? What's premium about a 2010 Camaro SS or a Alfa 147 or a Mustang?

It's time for some of you to come home from your vacations in lala-land and come to grips with reality. GT5P cockpits are not standard.

You mean the reality that exists in your head? Truth is you have no proof for your point either so why are you telling others to believe you? Hypocrisy at it's best.

So the question is.... Why didn't he answer the question?

Good point. I doubt they'll wait til GC2010 to say hey, no cockpit view for 800 cars. That's too close to release date to drop such a negative bomb.

I promise you, if you think standard cars will look like in GT5P, boy you will be disapointed. Why they look like two different games is because those two cars are so very different in real life. Every detail on that BMW interior is modeled and every detail on that ARTA NSX interior is modeled as well. The thing is that there are so many more details that needs to be modeled on the ARTA.

What is it that is so damn hard to understand? It's been up on the official Gran Turismo website for almost two weeks god damn it!

http://us.gran-turismo.com/us/news/d5247.html

What has? If you're talking about the bit about standard cars not having interior camera view then no, it hasn't.
