gofanboy article about GT5 delays  GT5P both looks and plays better than Forza although I honestly feel Forza definitely got extra attention because GT was not released around that time.

Are you sure you don't work for PD? Because you can sure as hell make good videos mate đź‘Ť

LOL that reminded me of those conspiracy theories of mimaximax being an undercover PD employee commandeered to fuel hype.

Good times, good times.

This has actually happened to me in GT4 several time. Best place to see it in action is Twin Ring Motegi Road Course. The sun is setting, it's cool. And that grass is apparently a little damp.

You can actually use the grass to your advantage sometimes. Coming out of the final turn, 18?, at Suzuka you can slip your right side tires off the track just a smidgen and the left sides will continue driving forward while the rights slide, turning you harder through the turn. Not easy to do and can make things complicated if you miss it. That and it being a no-no to purposely drive off the track for an advantage. :)

I know what I'm about to say probably won't be believed, but I'm going to say it anyway.

I was on vacation in Spain last week, and believe it or not I think I saw a GT5 TV commercial. It was a black Audi R8 turning a corner in a city track, coming up to the camera and stopping. Then it showed the GT5 logo with a PS3 in the background. I can't find it on youtube, and it was about four seconds long and I think in Spanish so I don't remember it in great detail.

Am I crazy or has anyone else seen this?

I saw it too, but it was a commercial for some kind of a compatition.

The wind of NĂĽrburgring seems to blow strong.
Is it intended? It is so confusing.
Some hope for rain, but others are accusing
The wind to be a glitch: it looks so wrong!

I guess we all will see: in not too long
weÂ’ll play the game and, oh, itÂ’ll be amusing!
November second (given that youÂ’re using
pope GregoryÂ’s calendar), all along.

Will Kazunori and his team deliver?
The expectations from the fans are high;
But itÂ’s a thriller, oh we all do shiver!

Can rain fall from such beautiful a sky?
And if itÂ’s heavy, could it form a river?
If not, then Kazunori, I wonÂ’t buy!

The dust that seems to be blown in my opinion, is a result of something similar to the sped up day/night clock shown in the GT5 E3 movie.

A teaser of sorts.

I liked to call this "grass hooking". Sorta worked in conjunction with the Scandinavian flick. You could even do it by just touching the outer edge of a corner before turning towards the apex.

Judging by GT5 videos and GT PSP's physics though, you won't be able to do this much anymore though; turning (or especially braking) with one side of the car on the grass is an almost guaranteed spin.

Eh, it's a European thing. ;) I was afraid it might be another "Big Bad Woof" or something metal.

Nice video. đź‘Ť

Yeah we Europeans love our Dance-music...........apparantly ( not that much into it myself apart from a few exceptions ).
Having said that, someone should make a compilation vid showing 2D trees accompanied by "It doesn't matter" by the Chemical Brothers.;)

I gotta tell you, mimaximax really saved us back then. he knew exactly the right time to release those videos, it was a time when everyone in gtplanet was thirsty for some news and videos. I think i speak for all of us in gtplanet when i say that we all greatly appreciated his videos :)

Quick question. Did they ever confirm whether or not we'll be able to upload our own music onto the PS3 to use as a soundtrack to the game?

It has. KAz mentioned that a couple years ago that we'd be able to listen to our own custom music and soundtracks in GT5

There in lies the problem. This site is full of people who won't "move on".

Look at the threads in the section, and the people that post in them.

Same garbage.

This place needs to change it's culture.:indiff:

I think the problem is that there are more GT fans on this site than Forza. Since we added Forza to this site we get a lot of Forza fans coming into GT discussions since maybe they don't have a lot to talk about or discuss amongst themselves in their own section of GTPlanet and have to come into GT threads and get very defensive or offensive in the process. It's just unavoidable we just have to learn to get along and discuss things in a civil manner after all that is what the rules require of us in this forum. :indiff:

Ok, it's time to end the petty insults here. đź‘Ž

Let's try to keep to the topic of GT5 Latest News & General Discussion without throwing around direct accusations of trolling and other personal attacks.

Infractions have been issued, and more will follow if members cannot behave civily to one another.

Disagree with one another by all means, but make your posts and rejoinders non-personal in nature.

Less than 24 hours ago Smallhorses posted the above message.

I have just finished deleting 18 posts that have clearly ignored his message, all of them off-topic noise and or chat.

Do you guys really have that little respect for the staff, the site and the AUP?

This is not a thread for chatting or discussing the merits of GT vs FM, and is it really that difficult to keep that in mind when posting?

I would be well within the site rules to throw a warning or infraction at the members behind everyone of those deleted posts, you certainly could not claim to have had no warning

I will make this simple, keep this thread (and for that matter all threads) on topic and do not use them for chatting (for which we have a dedicated chat tool).

In future public warnings will not be used, as they seem to have little affect, so formal warnings and/or infractions will be used instead. Maybe those will get the message across more effectively.

Its a shame however that things have got to that stage.

So in future, think before you hit the Submit Reply button.
