FM3 has 22 tracks, 100 veriations
Well, 24 locations - I counted. And yes, there are two locations which pad the number by over 30 courses, Copperhead Test Track being one of them. And hey, that'll work for Forza.

I do expect something better from Kazunori sensei. And like Timppaq, I know GT5 won't disappoint me. Whatever they do, it will be great.

20 tracks would be enough to keep me entertained for a long time, because the number of cars is whats more important to me. In the end i will have 3-4 favourite tracks wich i will race most of the time. I will tune cars for those tracks, try to do some hotlaping for the leaderboards and do some races for money.

Those 4 will probably be Nordschleife, Suzuka, Grand Valley and Deep Forrest. (if they put all those tracks in the game)

Well, it seems crazy, but no one expected 950+ Cars....Including myself.

I Believe there will be 70 Unique tracks at most...

Yeah 👍, just give us Suzuka, La Sarthe and the ring, and nothing else matters!

that game has so many variations of unique tracks it's amazing..for example.14 layouts of fujimi kaido..

and alot more variations... so about 23 tracks unique.

nurburgring. full, a,b,c,d,f,g.. excettera..

Yeah like Tenacious D said, two tracks bring the total number to 30, ALONE. Some of the tracks are great but it's just not... That's great. You don't really need 14 variations for one mountain track. But all in all I think GT5 will have a good number of tracks in itself and even if I only get a certain number, I'm going to enjoy those on my own time. I'm going to have my favorites and there's going to be a ton of other tracks that I never want to touch on my free time

I have almost no idea what you just said.

Hahahaha. GT5 will have a ton of quality tracks, verses FM3 that had to make 14 variations of one track to make it seem like they have a lot of tracks, claiming to have 100 when they really all suck

To be honest, for me at least, FM3's 24 different tracks is a bit low and I would love to see GT5 have a bit more. In the past PD has done a great job keeping each fictional "PD land" track unique. I would really like the PD tracks to each be totally unique... not just in layout but in setting as well. Mountains, desert, plains, city, snow, forest, and different combination of each of these.

For me there will be Suzuka, Nordschleife, Motegi and Tsukuba (also Top-Gear track).

I want to race really cool tracks and compare my times with real one.

I saw this nice image on Play-Asia.com. I haven't seen it before, is it from one of the GT5 movies or perhaps GT Vision? And which track could this be?

I believe that was the other of the two gran turismo images that went on Noah's Ark, that should give you an idea how old it is...

Yeah, it's from one of the old GT Vision vids or whatever. I believe we came to the conclusion that it was La Sarthe.

Yep, that's Forza 3, someones just put Gran Turismo writing on a stock car.

My goodness that's an old vid. I do beleive that is the very first vid that showed any hint of a PS3 version of Gran Turismo. It blended GT:HD and early GT5/GT5:P footage together. You are right, Grand Valley is in that video, but thoes scened are not GT5 footbage.
