I'll admit I am quite picky, but what's inaccurate about it is the suns position. (which causes the backward shadows) In reality, the sun could never be there. I've made my point, so I'll shut up now.

1) How much is that going to cost
2) Cool, a couple cars that they could've easily added in the game before release (or downloaded for free had they not finished them in time)

R15 is fairly likely to be in GT5 anyway, just will have to wait a few months longer.

I can't even download the free cars. I own the "bundle copy" of fm3 and I only received 3 miserable hundays while people with normal and limited edition of the game received tons of new cars. This is so disappointing.

My TV is the same way. In the light/sun the cars are vibrant and look good. But everything that is in the shade, or in-car is way too dark. If I brighten up the tv so I can see those details, then the stuff that was perfect before is too bright now. :guilty:

Sounds to me like I need to shamelessly plug my thread again! :D

Provided you follow my instructions, you should see an improvement in the picture.

In saying that, GT5P can still be too dark for the in-car view and its very hard to get the perfect balance in GT5P. I believe this is a limitation with the lighting engine, and really makes you appreciate what Killzone 2 does with its lighting.
The lighting in GT5P isn't as advanced as in Killzone 2 in the fact that the light appears to go in one direction, so it comes into the car, but doesn't bounce off surfaces to light up the rest of the car. Making what should be a visible dash quite dark, as the dash doesn't get light, unless the light source is more or less directly hitting it. I'm hoping this will change for GT5 and using a car like the F40 will be possible with in-car view and the HUD off.

Indeed. I love how T10 showed pictures of the Ferrari 458 long before the game was out, yet admitted that it wouldn't come with the game.
I got no problem with DLCs, as long as it isn't bloody obvious they are just holding back content so that they can charge for it later. 👎

To enter the Academy racers will have to post their best overall leaderboard times negotiating a specially created section of a new Gran Turismo 5 circuit. This best time will be a composite of two separate runs – one with the tuned vehicle and the other with the non-tuned version.

is pleased to announce the Gran Turismo Time Trial Challenge, available on PlayStation Network from the 17th December 2009......and the launch of GT Academy 2010"

Hey who knows, we got GT PSP a week before the Japanese, maybe Sony decided to give us GT5 before christmas.

I am assuming by the free cars you mean the Legendary Car Pack (or whatever it was called) that I got a redemption code for in my game box? As far as I know the only post launch DLC was the Huyndai pack.

Why are you going to cry?

No, I have the Legends Car Pack, the code was in my box.
You mean you didn't receive the new audi r8 version and mazda rx8 either? We're supposed to have a minimum of 3 R8 in our garages, I only have 2. One of my friends received these on nov 7th: R8, RX-8 Mazdaspeed, Camaro SS, R8 5200 FSI quattro, M3 E46 coupe.
Some say you have to scan something and send it to turn10 in order to get the cars, others say those who preordered from GS received a code by email.
I don't like the way turn10 deals with that stuff.

Anyway sorry about the OT.

Unless it was added as an update and didn't tell me, no. But I also bought the game this past weekend and didn't have a chance at any pre-order stuff.

Because it means us GT fans won't get the Audi R15.
It doesn't mean we wont get the Audi R15. There's a chance that it wont make it into GT5, but there's just as good a chance that it will make it into GT5.
