Funny to see how people are starting to get excited about damage. Did anyone really expect the final damage model to look like the one shown last year at Gamescom?

I don't think it's excitement as much as "relief". I was very worried the damage was going to be the same precanned stuff we've already seen and considered "good enough".

I know what you mean, but you have to wonder if there is a certain "Ferrari limbo" (specialty model sales) for those who crash the Enzo namesake.

I was expecting it to be like we have been seeing in the latest video's, far from impressive. That's why i'm excited now, I didn't expect this at all. And we haven't seen any interior damage yet, so that may be another pleasant surprise (for me atleast). :)

After all those years I feel like we should have a little bit more faith in them and their skills :lol:
We still didn't see full rollovers and interior damage so I'm expecting a lot more from the damage model.

All aids off, NASCAR @ Nordschleife! Sadly, not very long. But the sound is quite good!
Really awesome, very challenging physics. BIG improvement.

EDIT: Damn, I just realised it's not the whole frame, just a crop of the video. I'll check out what I can do!

The second dial to the right of the tachometer in the video in the quoted post above is working and doesn't appear to be the speedometer. What is it?
 
Just got back from my best buy. I'll upload pics and 3 replay vids. I'm not the best driver especially on Toscana so go easy on me! lol

The photos were taken with my iPhone 4 so they're not the best but I tried! lol
 
It sounds really bad. Wonderful V8 rumble again raped by that obsolete three sample per car sound engine. Highest revs are poor again and sound fastened in the first second you listen to it.

Err....but don't you know that at Gamescom we heard the new Nascar sounds?

 
Alrite here's the batch of photos. I was trying to show the extent of the damage that I could do within the 2 minutes. I can tell you guys that the damage is real time and it's not always the same each time. It really does matter where you get hit and how hard you got hit.

I am sorry but if that damage is not good enough for you then you really need to get your head check. IMO [damage concerns/] . end of story.

Also, what happened to the left headlight, I can't see it in the blurry pic, but I presume it has fallen off. Did any of them shatter in million pieces?
 
I can't believe people doubted PD when they said real time damage. That damage looks amazing. The only bad thing is that I will never see that kind of damage while playing. Thanks for the pictures.

I'm not actually sure what did happen to it. I was just as surprised as you when I was playing and I saw this kind of damage.

Another look at it though this pic is really blurry.

What a weird (but kind of cool) way to reveal the damage. This is all very bizarre. This is one time I wish I didn't live downtown. I'd have to drive out to the burbs to go to best buy and thats just not happening.

PD knows that the GTP Forces will go over the most excruciating minutia just to get some new info and media.

Collectively we could probably have found Bin Laden, not that i believe in all that, just an example.
 
Next time, I'll bring at least a digital camera. lol People were already looking just with the iPhone. haha Anyway, I'm uploading two youtube videos both of Toscana.

I know right? I would have never expected seeing newer builds before seeing them on TGS. That means they probably have a bomb ready to drop on us at TGS.
