Is it the "entire" weather system restricted to endurance races, or just the "changing/dynamic" weather with the aprox. forecasting? I hope not the latter! Should be able to select rain from the beginning for races.

Sorry we're too busy admiring the incredible looking weather system and night racing to dwell on the standard/premium issue.

"Guys, they're asking questions about the cars that make up the majority of the game. What do we do?"

"Distract them with shiny things!"

...I'm only half-joking though, since I'd be lying if I said the weather video hasn't got me pretty damn excited :-/.

Fortunately, GT5 will probably feel "fresh" all the way until the release of GT6, it is truly awesome.
You say that now, but after a few months of playing it and experiencing all the game has to offer, it's not going to feel so fresh. Sure it might keep you occupied with all the race modes and online etc., but in terms of looks and stuff like that, you will quickly get used to it and see past all the eye candy. At the end of the day, it's just a game, and they live or die by how well they play, not how they look.

I also find it highly amusing how people are now starting to say how "rubbish" F1 2010 is starting to look... The fair-weather fanboys really are out in force eh?!

Like them? Want them? Buy a motorbike game :P

I'd rather they gave us 2 more premium cars instead of 20 bikes.
Seeing as though this is about GT5, and bikes possible being in GT5 later on, why would I buy a motorbike game? If they are there as an option, you either take them or not. No point crying over it.

I'd happily take 20 bikes over 2 more premium cars, knowing that more cars will come along anyway.

Well, I was impressed with the weather shown in the early F1 2010 preview videos but I must say GT5 seem to have surpassed it. F1 2010 looks dated in comparison but still pretty good.

"seems"...let's wait and see eh? We don't really know how it looks in detail or how it affects the handling.

Thats a bargin.......quick someone get me a towel, i think i just came in my pants..:sly::sly::sly:
You "think"... First time then?! Either that or you have a weak bladder.

I want some HD videos and pics as well, my mind isn't blown yet.

No video access in work for me so I'll have to wait until tonight to see anything, hopefully the HD stuff will be up by then.

Is your mind just on simmer at the moment then ;)

If you do a standing start in a race with 15 cars in front of you, all kicking up water in front of you, there might not be 60 frames per second.

(who cares! Seriously )

Not that important but its always been a trademark of the GT games to keep a solid 60fps at all times.

GT5P has pretty bad frame rate issues at times. Despite the PS3s powerful hardware GT5 is still too much for it :dunce:

Makes you wonder, if they are developing GT6 now, whats the chances it'll even be a PS3 title.

Just woke up and watched the weather trailer.

Talk about Morning Glory...

+1 :guilty:

dynamic track conditions. hell yes. i know i can't ask for more, but hopefully in the endurance races that grip levels will improve as the the track gets rubbered in. that would be the icing on the cake, but already the news today as far exceeded my expectations.

Yea i hope and think GT6 will be a ps3 title.

GT5 is the platform and GT6 will just be more content and features. All the hard stuff should have been done during the past 6 years. 6 years man that is a long time

also it been pretty much hinted at by sony and msoft that there will be no new generation consoles for a good 4 years or so yet. the motion controllers being released are being seen as a new launch for both current systems. so yes :) maybe ps3 , perhaps 2 discs , one apsec, one b spec (Free up more space).. haha gt5 aint even released and the speculation on gt6 has started in earnest :)

There's a load of videos on the Japanese PSN store from TGS 2010. I'm downloading them now, er sorry, as I live in the UK, I mean my Japanese friend in Tokyo, er Brian, is doing it for me.

Edit: Oh, sorry, looks like none are GT5 related yet.
