... I totally missed that narrow strip. That's what I get for staying up late to help people with their projects. *yawn* Thanks for the heads-up.

No problem. It's probably not the exact feature you were talking about, but it's probably for the better. Sure it would be nice to practice that one section that trips you up, but what if the line the session started with isn't the line you take. More beneficial to either drive a whole lap or reverse around far enough to set your line.

I will get to try GT5 at the expert expo in Helsinki tomorrow.. hopefully they will have a newer build than last time I tried it. :D Oh well, I know it'll be a blast anyways. I try to get some decent lap captured, sound might be imbossible, but we'll see.

If it's the same demo like earlier, it wil be Motul @ Nurb on R1's (yes, it is luuvly)

hehe, we had a nice battle with Grandi last time.. My excuse is the beer...

Yes, G drank the same amount but anyway!!! :P

By the looks of it, the sidepods move outwards and merge with the rear wheel covers. Interesting.

Red Bull have a lot of money... please for the love of god make this car!

I would imagine this car has problems with cooling though. The brakes are obstructed by the front wheel covers and it doesn't appear to have a central air intake above the cockpit either.

Maybe there is a fan somewhere on it?

There's the one shot of it coming over a crest, and you get a good front profile of the car... It has an awfully small rear wing. I mean, far be it for me to question Adrian Newey, but I would think that a car that adheres to no rules would have a much wider rear wing.

I have one question regarding GT5 'interaction' with GT5P. I heard that it will be possible with GTPSP but there are just some rumors that GT5 will interact (transfer garage, money, have passed some licence, etc.) with GT5?
I ask that because I plan to (pre)order US version of GT5 (price difference is main reason) and already have EU GT5P. So if will GT5 interact and if in which way? Is there any official info about that matter?

I'm form Bosnia and for me is easier and cheaper to get US version of game(s) specially if I plan to update game with DLCs.

You're going to need an american GT5P save. Also, you will need to get DLC from the american PSN store.

that's highly unlikely considering the concept the car is based off of. If they did make it, it'd probably simply be to show at an Auto Show....And it probably wouldn't work. I mean, why make a car you could never use? It wouldn't be street legal and it wouldn't be allowed in racing considering is a race car without limits, which means it doesn't conform to any rules. Unless they were going for the land speed record for concept cars, then there would be no point in making it. But with GT5 you can use it where ever without worrying about rules.

Actually, it would help limiting the number of certain extremely popular cars in the online mode. I'm not sure I would want to see starting grids made exclusively of Ferraris (I bet most kids will go for them) for example.
Also it would give more sense to the "gift system".

You kidding? Most kids know that a cool tuned Supra beats a lame red Ferrari anytime :D
Ferraris are for rich old bald men, imported christmas trees are for the kids :D (not that i dont like a good GT-R, just no neons please)

and to think red bull is a drink...yet thay can do this

Red Bull isn't just simply a drink, its an Empire. Name me another Energy Drink Company that has multiple race teams, a driver development program, multiple events and athletes across the world as well their own R&D program and a Hanger.

well obviously lol :sly: but it's like lucozade paying people to come up with a new racer...it's just wierd 👍

You have to separate the Red Bull racing team ( which carries the name and is sponsored and owned by the Red Bull company like the other F1 team they also own, Toro Rosso ) from the actual Red Bull energy drink manufacturer in the same way the Benetton F1 team had nothing to do with the clothes made and sold by Benetton.
Compare it to, for example McLaren, and imagine McLaren being bought or founded by a company unrelated to cars or motorsport and taking their name for obvious marketing reasons, for example the McDonalds F1.;)

^i can't and it was a sarcastic comment...not meant to be serious...👍

I know you weren't being serious, I was just putting some emphasis on how big they are(You could call them a conglomerate almost). Forgot to use smileys I suppose :)

Sure Red Bull Racing and Toro Rosso are a seperate entity as is Team Red Bull here in the US but they are all connected to the company so essentially (since they are also all owned by the same guy therefore have money put into them and branded by the same guy), they are for at least as a family, Red Bull.

Hi guys long time lurker but first post so go easy...
I think i have noticed something that people might have missed about the weather and if i'm right PD's attention to detail is awesome.
If you watch the subaru in the rain did anybody notice how when he is on the outside view that the spray is heading in one direction
as if being manipulated by the wind (this isn't what i have noticed by the way) well when he goes back to the cockpit the rain isn't
so hard ie he is heading in the same direction as the rain but when he goes round the hairpin and has gone through the tunnel and is now heading in to the wind
and the rain is so much harder now if i'm right this is amazing.
Could somebody please get a screen shot of it please.
0.44 secs the rain is blowing right to left
1.03 the rain is not as hard
1.33 the rain is very hard
Hope this is something but it could just be nothing
