Yes its made by nismo, but that doesn't change the fact that all the cars are made by nismo, and to SUPERGT specs.
True. I got your point but I just wanted to point it out. ;)

Hey, 359, looks like you're missing at least a couple cars. Famine mentioned a while ago that the 009 Aston Martin DB9R might be featured in GT5 (sounds like a very strong possibility) and the '70 Charger 440 R/T was seen in the "Standard cars" video

Okay I have a question. If the 800 standard cars are ports or upgrades from GT4 is the Speed 12 included amongst those or not? I don't see it on the list. I guess it's safe to assume that it may not make the cut. :ill:👎
Oh well what can you do?

The list only has cars we've seen in gt5 demos, videos, trailers. We haven't seen 100s and 100s of cars yet.

Can we separate this list into cars that are confirmed to be 'premium' and those that have not?

I think we can fairly safely assume that all of the cars that were on GT5P are going to be premium on GT5. Add to that all the additional cars we have seen on all of the recent GT5 final demos, I don't think there are very many premium cars yet to be revealed. Less than 100 I would imagine. I'm just hoping my baby, the glorious 787B, is one of those premium cars.

Here is the GT5P list:

So that is basically ~80 cars, leaving 120 left.

Perhaps an asterisk can be added to those that are confirmed as premium?

I just forgot about GT HD,that is the game that would give us an answer because all the cars feature there seems to be standard(Subaru,mx5,celica rally car ) they are all model so maybe we are looking here to the standard cars:

No, those cars were created from scratch with a very high amount of detail. They are premium.

Minus 10 "Tuned" cars. It's just tunning showcase.GTR Proto '05 is also standard. So 63 cars in Prologue + 40 in latest demo + about 5 we probably seen on screen-shots + GTHD cars.So its good ~95-100 premiums left!

Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD) Tuned Car
RE Amemiya FD3S RX-7

There is no such cars in GT5p.

Did you see what Conquerer just said? They're premium. What's so hard to understand?

Hi ^_^ I never posted till now, registered till 2004, silent reader :)

Just wanted to say Thank you for all the info, and I am SOOOOOO happy that the Golf IV GTi '01 will be in AND PREMIUM, Hooray

Ah there is also a screenshot from GT6 - R(eal)L(ife)

look at the amazing dirt textures  and the lucky charm plush turtle (turtles all the way down)

Are you sure that GTR Proto '05 is premium?

It has the same amount of detail as all the other Prologue cars, so yeah, it's premium. It doesn't have a cockpit view because it's a concept car and probably didn't have a real full interior. It didn't have a cockpit view in GT PSP either.

How the crap did the GT-86 G Sports Concept get on that list. I think we've only seen the normal GT-86.
Go ahead and check out the screenshot of it then. It's right there in the list. :dunce:

EDIT: And it's not GT, it's FT.

Sorry if this has already been answered, but how do we know the Maserati GranTurismo shown in the E3 trailer (and anywhere else) is the S model?

I'm just curious about it :)

I think you might just be right... they had 700 of these GTHD cars ready for the full GTHD game.... maybe thats what we will be getting as standard cars, they don'y have interior view either...

You are totally wrong.
The full GTHD (which was never released) featured 30 cars with the level of the released GTHD Concept, the other cars were from GT4 (plus some more) and you had to download them for money. It was actually pretty close to what we get in November...

You mean just like STANDARD cars?:sly:

Well I have no idea of the validity of this or where they got their info, but ClassicCarsForSale.co.uk have the following article on their website

Classic cars take prominent role in new game

An eagerly-anticipated new computer game will allow console fans to get behind the virtual wheel of a number of iconic classic cars, it has been confirmed.
Gran Turismo 5, which is set to be released towards the end of the year, is the latest in a hugely successful series that has sold over 53 million units since December 1997.
According to its official website, "the world''s hottest cars from car manufacturers all over the globe, both past and present, have been gathered".
Among the 1,000-plus models gamers can choose from will be a 1950s Facel Vega HK500, a 1960s Jensen CV8 and a 1970s Alfa Romeo 2000 Sprint Veloce.
Classic car fans will be able to take their historic vehicles for a spin in 20 locations and 70 lay-outs in Gran Turismo 5 when it hits the shelves on November 2nd.
Last month, Daily Telegraph motoring expert Jasper Gerard described the Facel Vega HK500 as the "best car you''ve probably never heard of".

http://www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/classic-car-news-item.php/i/n/a/Classic+cars+take+prominent+role+in+new+game/id/19856317

I just hadn't seen those cars mentioned in regards to GT5 before, and if indeed its true, a Facel Vega looks ...interesting

I don't think so.It looks worse than premium GT-R (not so detailed), GT4 aslo has same GT-R Proto, so I really think it's standard.PSP probably has same GT4 model of it, because it's impossible to meet this car again.IMO!

It's the same quality, it just looks different cause it's not the same design. The GT-R is more refined and better looking in design, whereas the Proto is more simple and unfinished looking, plus with almost a matte grey/silver colour that has minimal shine to it. The quality of the car models is very similar though.

As long as they are premium, great! 👍 Hopefully that article isn't BS, I'd love to see more classic cars in the game (especially European ones).

I mean quality-wise. 👍

What top quality cars are due later this year and early next year.
Reason for asking is, usually there were cars in GT4 that were part of the game of which most of us didn't know were coming out.
